We were lucky to catch up with Rachelle Heasley recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachelle, so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?
Self care has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I actually started really young, following Blogilates workouts on YouTube in my bedroom. That led me to working at a gym in high school, then choosing jobs where I was constantly active. I even spent years caddying at a country club. For a long time, I saw wellness only as physical: working out, eating clean, being strong.
But everything shifted when I started focusing on my internal and mental health, not just how I looked or performed. Now, my self care is a lifestyle. I prioritize getting fresh air, going on walks, working out because it makes me feel good, eating foods that fuel me, and spending time in the infrared sauna and red light therapy to support my overall wellbeing.
The impact has been huge. When I care for my mind and my emotions as much as my body, I’m more grounded, clear, and present. I make better decisions, I communicate better, and I’m able to show up fully, not burnt out or overwhelmed, just aligned. This isn’t a phase for me. It’s who I am and how I live, for life.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I grew up in a small town in Illinois and I’m one of twelve kids, so I learned early how to be outgoing, social, and confident. I started creating content when I was 14. My mom and sisters had blogs and YouTube channels, and watching them share their lives made me realize I wanted to do the same. Being on camera always felt natural to me and it still does.
I’ve always had a strong work ethic. In high school, I went to cosmetology school while working at my local gym. From there, I nannied, caddied at a country club, did bridal makeup, worked hospitality, ran social media accounts, worked at a flower shop, bakery and a wellness spa. Every job taught me something about people, connection, communication, and showing up with intention.
And through all of those seasons, I was creating content. Even when I wasn’t consistent, I never stopped. I was documenting my life, my routines, my style, and my wellness journey long before I had a platform. Content creation has always been a part of me.
Today, my platform is simply my everyday life, fitness, fashion, healthy eating, homemaking, and the small moments that make life feel meaningful. I don’t try to be anything I’m not. I show up as myself and invite others to grow alongside me. Content creation has always been there for me, and I’ve carried it into every chapter of my life.
I genuinely cherish the community I’ve built, these people feel like family. There is so much more to come, and I can’t wait to bring them with

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Confidence has allowed me to show up as myself. I learned early on that if I didn’t believe in what I was doing, I couldn’t expect anyone else to. For anyone starting out confidence comes from doing, not waiting. Start before you feel “ready.”
Consistency is everything. There were seasons where I posted every day and seasons where I barely posted at all but I never truly stepped away. I kept creating, kept documenting, kept trying. Progress is rarely loud. Sometimes it’s simply continuing to show up.
Curiosity is what made my journey fun. Trying new jobs, moving to new places, learning new things, I let myself follow what felt exciting. That curiosity is what shaped my voice, my perspective, and my brand. Don’t be afraid to pivot, explore, or start fresh. That’s where growth happens.
My advice for anyone early on their journey is this:
Show up as yourself. Keep showing up even when no one is watching. And allow your life to expand in ways you didn’t expect. You don’t have to have the final picture yet, you just have to keep taking steps toward the person you’re becoming.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes, I’m always open to partnering and collaborating. One of my favorite things about the way I’ve built my platform is that I never boxed myself into one niche. I’ve kept my content rooted in my real life Which means it can evolve and expand as I do. Because of that, I’m able to work with a wide range of brands in different categories: home, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, food, travel anywhere that aligns with the way I genuinely live.
I love collaborating with brands that value authenticity, creativity, and connection. I’m drawn to partnerships where the product or message naturally fits into my life, and where I can create content that feels organic and inspiring, not scripted.
If you’re reading this and feel like our brands align, I would love to connect. You can reach me through Instagram or TikTok @rachelleheasley. I’m excited for the partnerships ahead and grateful for every opportunity to create something meaningful together.
