Meet Roger Ribeiro

We recently connected with Roger Ribeiro and have shared our conversation below.

Roger, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My focus today is on my most recent work, the vertical soap opera “A Inocente” (The Innocent). It’s about love, friendship, betrayals, with great melodrama and engaging stories. It will be released soon.
In addition to acting as the character Hugo, I also serve as the screenwriter and producer.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I’ve been through several difficult situations, both personally and professionally, so I want to highlight resilience, patience, and the will to win. These are “skills” that will never disappear because being an artist is very challenging, so they need to be renewed and energized at every moment.

My advice for those starting their journey is: create a purpose, if necessary, calculate new routes, and don’t give up. Be confident, persist, fight, and don’t stop. Be sure of your goals and go after them, and above all, don’t harm anyone to achieve your goals.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Currently, due to the ongoing telenovela “A Inocente,” we are seeking distribution and promotion for the series throughout the United States.

I want to work on more projects, whether in film, television, or theater, in Los Angeles and Atlanta again.

So, producers, agents, and distributors, I’m here!
