Meet Whitney Duhart

We recently connected with Whitney Duhart and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Whitney, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.

I developed the ability to take risks by trusting my vision, investing in my education, and learning to move even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. Coming from a background in customer service, the military, and later transitioning into entrepreneurship, I had to get comfortable making decisions that stretched me. Every time I invested in new equipment, training, or expanding my business, I learned that calculated risks are necessary for growth. Over time, I started seeing risk as an opportunity rather than something to fear—and that mindset has pushed my business forward.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m the owner of Be Naked, a body sculpting and paramedical tattoo studio where I help people enhance their natural bodies and feel confident. I offer services like body contouring, skin tightening, and restorative paramedical tattooing. What I love most is watching clients leave feeling bold, beautiful, and more like themselves.

Be Naked is all about natural enhancement, self-care, and creating a safe space for every client. I’m also expanding my services and building training programs for those who want to start their own body sculpting careers. Big things are coming, and I’m excited to continue growing and serving my community.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three skills that impacted my journey the most were discipline, customer connection, and continuous learning. My discipline came from my military background and has helped me stay focused, organized, and committed even when things get tough. Building strong relationships with clients has been key to my success—good communication and genuine care create trust and loyalty. And staying committed to learning, whether through new certifications, hands-on practice, or improving my business systems, has kept me growing and evolving.

For anyone early in their journey, my advice is simple:
• Discipline – Create routines, stay consistent, and show up even on the slow days.
• Customer connection – Treat every client like they matter, because they do. Your reputation is everything.
• Keep learning – Invest in your skills, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to ask questions or try new things.

Those three things will take you farther than talent alone.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, I’m absolutely looking to collaborate with other professionals. I’m especially interested in partnering with doulas, hair specialists, fitness experts, personal trainers, gyms, smoothie shops, and yoga instructors—anyone in the wellness, beauty, and body-focused space. I love building connections that support confidence, health, and overall self-care in our community.

If you’re interested in collaborating, you can reach me at [email protected] or on Instagram at @__benaked__. I’m always open to new opportunities and ways we can grow together.
