Meet Niyah Imani Jean-Pierre

We recently connected with Niyah Imani Jean-Pierre and have shared our conversation below.

Niyah Imani, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

“I keep my creativity alive by finding new ideas to try out. I love to try different things—whether it’s experimenting with fashion, writing scripts, or even just going outside into nature to observe little creatures. I also make sure to stay around people who support me and push me to bring my best. For me, creativity isn’t just about art. It’s also about curiosity and seeing the beauty in everything I do.”

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m Niyah Imani Jean-Pierre, and I’m a 13-year-old model, actress, and teen content creator. What I love most about what I do is that I get to express myself and inspire other kids to be confident and creative. Whether I’m on set modeling, filming a commercial, learning a new scene, or creating fun lifestyle content, I always feel like I’m growing and discovering new parts of myself.

I think what makes my work special is that I’m able to bring a positive energy to everything I do. I love fashion, storytelling, and connecting with people, and I try to make sure that comes through in my photos, reels/ videos, and performances. I also think representation matters, so I’m really proud to show other young girls—especially girls who look like me—that they can shine in this industry too.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding my modeling and acting career while building a stronger presence on social media. I’ve been featured in several magazines this year, including covers and international publications, and I’m excited to keep growing and working with even more amazing brands and creatives. I’m also working on more acting training and auditioning for bigger roles, because I really want to do more TV and film.

Something new I’m really excited about is developing more creative collaborations and projects that let me show different sides of my personality—fashion, comedy, lifestyle, and even behind-the-scenes moments from my journey that show my personality. I want people to feel like they’re coming along with me as I grow, learn, and step into bigger opportunities.

Overall, my brand is all about confidence, hard work, kindness, and staying true to who I am. I’m just getting started, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three things that really helped me on my journey are taking acting classes, working hard, and believing in myself.

Acting classes are super important because they teach you what it really takes to perform and help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera or on stage. You get to learn the skills you need before jumping in, and it makes everything less scary.

Working hard and being disciplined is key too. There’s a lot of practice, auditions, and long days, but sticking with it and giving your best every time helps you grow faster.

And confidence is huge. You have to trust yourself and show your personality. When you’re confident, people notice you, and you can take risks and try new things.

My advice to anyone just starting out? Practice your craft, stay focused, and believe in yourself. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes—they’re just steps toward getting better.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes! I’m always excited to collaborate with other kids, creators, or brands who are positive, creative, and passionate about what they do. I love working with people who inspire each other and want to make fun, exciting content together—whether it’s fashion, acting, lifestyle, or just sharing cool ideas. It’s really important to me that anyone I work with is kind, motivated, and loves being creative, because that makes the whole experience more fun and meaningful.
