Meet SEKTOR 8

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to SEKTOR 8. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have SEKTOR 8 with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic comes from a very personal place. Growing up, I remember the version of myself who wanted a bigger life but didn’t always have the tools or confidence yet. I’ve worked hard to become the person that younger version of me needed. So now I show up with discipline and consistency because I don’t want to waste the opportunities I’ve created. It’s not about proving anyone wrong, it’s about proving to myself what I’m capable of and staying hungry to keep leveling up.”

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

SEKTOR 8 is the world I’m building through my music and visuals. It’s a place for people who feel the weight of real life but still push forward. I pull from darker, more emotional spaces and turn that into sound and atmosphere, and that’s what makes the brand feel different. It’s real, and honest.

Right now I’m expanding it with new music, new shows, and new visual concepts. My goal is for anyone who steps into SEKTOR 8 to feel like they’ve entered a space where their scars aren’t something to hide, they’re part of the story.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three things that changed my entire path were discipline, consistency, and learning to stop comparing myself to everyone around me. Discipline gave me structure, consistency kept the momentum going, and letting go of comparison finally gave me the freedom to grow at my own pace instead of constantly feeling behind. For anyone starting out, my advice is simple, build small daily habits that you actually stick to, even on the days you’re not motivated. That’s where real discipline comes from. Stay consistent long enough for people to notice, and especially long enough for you to notice your own growth. And honestly, the moment you stop measuring your progress against someone else’s timeline is the moment your work gets better and your confidence gets real.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

One book that had a real impact on me was The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. It taught me how much energy I waste living in the past or stressing about the future. The biggest thing I took from it is that the present moment is the only place you can actually take action or make change.

It reminded me that when you stay grounded in what’s happening right now, you make clearer decisions, you work better, and you enjoy the process more instead of constantly chasing something in your head. That mindset helped me get out of my own way and focus on what I can actually control today.
