Meet Curstin Andrews

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Curstin Andrews a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Curstin with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I got my worth ethic from being myself and my workaholic. I’m self discipline so I know when I show up I will show out and will not give up until the work is done. I don’t skip corners I take the full steps to get things done. I’m all about potential dedication skills and ability.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

It’s been a long journey where I came from I started at Walmart working at the door checking receipts and soon to be told I ended up in my first movie with Rick Ross, Webbie, and master P. I feel like that ended up in that position to work with them strived me harder to become better. Not only that my bro Elijah Lamar was the one that told me to take classes, continue to do background until you feel like you know how productions operate. I said most definitely. After couple months passed I stopped doing background due to me feeling the mood that I know I could do better than background. The moment I stopped I touched my first speaking role. I was exciting and nervous because I didn’t know how I would remember these lines with that being my first movie with lines. So I just study and looked over it over and over and over was amazed how I remember the lines as a beginner and with me having a hard time in high school trying to remember things I was impressed. I knew that day that this is where I want to be. So as I grew into the industry I kept meeting people and learning from them and o elevated ever since then. Now I’m an 6x nominated actor. I also created my own film production company and brought actors and actress under me to work so they don’t have to wait for Hollywood to call them and help them develop their skills. And now I write, direct, produce my own movies now. My first movie pole dancer will be releasing in 2026. I’m planning reaching towards more greatness by having my team build a film studio in years down the line

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Never give up
One band one sound
Potential, dedication, worth ethic, and discipline

The advice I have for the people is don’t ever be discourage when you get your first no! Keep striving for greatness and break through all the doors because there is an opportunity hiding behind it waiting for you so you can hear a see that YES!! Stay in acting classes and don’t do background alot it can hinder you from opportunities and agents, directors, and casting directors won’t take you seriously. It’s ok to do it to get your foot in the door but don’t make it your primary goal in life

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes im am. I’m looking for actors, rappers, and models such as Morris chessnut, Kerry Washington, cardi b, Megan thee stallion, Glorilla, and Beyonce.
