We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brittney Brown a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Brittney with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Success has never been optional for me. Even when it wasn’t warranted, I pushed forward—driven, disciplined, and never leaving anything on the table. Raised by strong-willed Mother and a supportive Grandmother, I learned resilience early. But it was my Grandfather, a lifelong advocate for civil rights & equality, who taught me purpose. Even in retirement, he fights for others. Watching him, I understand: if he can live with such tenacity, I have no excuse not to do the same.
My ambition isn’t just about achievement—it’s about honoring the legacy of perseverance I come from.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
At Team Rebirth, I help bring meaningful stories to life by leading operations, talent, and digital strategy with purpose and heart. What inspires me most is the authenticity behind our work—each project is an opportunity to show that being different, bold, or unorthodox is not only accepted but celebrated. At its core, Team Rebirth is a movement built on renewal, resilience, and storytelling that resonates with audiences and creates lasting, impactful connections.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three qualities that have shaped my journey are resilience, diligence, and persistence. Resilience has helped me get back up when things don’t go as planned, diligence makes sure I show up and communicate my ideas clearly, and persistence keeps me moving forward, even when progress feels slow. My advice for anyone starting out: lean into challenges, be present and authentic in everything you do, and keep showing up—these small, steady steps will carry you further than you imagine.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have mentors, coaches, and colleagues who have guided me through challenges and helped me build the skills and mindset necessary for success. Each of them has contributed not only to my creative growth but also to my corporate and business perspective. One lesson that has stayed with me came from a colleague during a creative production: “Give it all you’ve got!” I apply that to everything I do, because holding back only limits what’s possible. Every person I’ve collaborated with has played a role in shaping my abilities, resilience, and determination, and I’m deeply grateful for their guidance.
