Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jackie DiMaggio. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Jackie, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
My purpose wasn’t something I chased…it was something God gently led me into -to share my voice, to encourage, and to pour light into places that need it. Not just to sing, but to reach people’s hearts in a way only music can. Piece by piece. Moment by moment. Through every open door, every closed one, every person He placed in my path, and every lesson that stretched me in ways I didn’t always understand at the time.
I found my purpose by listening to that tug in my heart—the one that wouldn’t let me settle, the one that kept reminding me I was made for more. I found it by showing up, even when I was unsure, and by trusting that if God gave me a gift, He intended for me to use it boldly. I found it by choosing love, choosing compassion, and choosing to serve with the abilities He put inside me.
My purpose came the moment I realized that everything I do—every song I sing, every word I speak, every person I pour into—isn’t really about me at all. It’s about reflecting the light He placed in me and offering it back to the world. And if that light brings even one person hope, strength, or a reminder of God’s love, then I know I’m walking in my purpose exactly the way He planned.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
As America’s Sweetheart, Jackie DiMaggio, my story begins where my heart first opened—singing in church at just three years old. From that moment, music became my purpose. Today, I’m a singer and performer who loves creating moments that lift people up, whether I’m sharing a classic, singing the anthem in an arena, or bringing warmth to a holiday event.
What makes what I do special is the connection. It’s not just about singing—it’s about the feeling, the atmosphere, and the light that music can bring into someone’s day. My brand is built on authenticity, kindness, faith, and a little sparkle.
I have upcoming performances, collaborations, and community events I’m excited to share, and I’m continually growing in the places God leads me.
At the end of the day, my mission is simple:
Use my voice to make people feel good, remind them they’re not alone, and bring a little bit more light into the world—one song at a time.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that shaped my journey the most were faith, discipline, and heart.
Faith kept me grounded. It reminded me that every gift has a purpose and that God will guide your steps if you trust Him. For anyone starting out, stay close to your “why.” Let your purpose, not pressure, lead you.
Discipline was the quiet foundation. People see the performances, but they don’t always see the hours of practice, the early mornings, or the moments of doubt you push through. If you’re early in your journey, show up for yourself daily—even on the days you don’t feel like it. Consistency builds confidence.
Heart is what makes it all real. Singing isn’t just about hitting notes; it’s about making people feel something. Whatever your craft is, put your whole self into it. Authenticity is your greatest strength.
My strongest piece of advice is to stay rooted in who you are, keep your faith strong, work hard, and lead with love. The doors that are meant for you will open—and when they do, you’ll be ready to walk through them with grace.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing my parents ever did for me was believe in me completely. They supported me in everything I did, but they did it with a gentle push—never forceful, always loving. They reminded me that the voice God gave me wasn’t just a talent, but a purpose. They encouraged me to share it, to grow it, and to trust that it was meant to touch people.
My parents didn’t just guide me; they led with love, with faith, and with the kind of steady support that gives a child confidence to step into who they’re meant to be. Their belief in me is a big part of why I am who I am today.
