Meet Tiffany Martin

We were lucky to catch up with Tiffany Martin recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.

This is such a good question! If I were to answer this in 1 word, I would say THERAPY. To be honest, for as long as I can remember I’ve never been a person to care about what others thought of me. I have always shown up in my own lane and moved to the beat of my own drum. However, there have been certain areas of my life where I would self sabotage or ruminate about painful experiences due to my stinking thinking and the negative stories I would tell myself. And because thoughts hold energy…..I wasn’t aware of the psychological effects it was having on my life, relationships, & businesses. A very unsuccessful relationship I was in lead me to therapy. Can you believe I thought I was superwoman enough to go to therapy for the BOTH of us, lol? Therapy has been the greatest lesson & greatest breakthrough of my life because I’ve learned how to identify my triggers by name & release the false realities that lead me to believe that I wasn’t good enough!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Through this work, Tiffany helps high-performing & high-functioning professionals move beyond stress and burnout, dismantle gaps and blind spots, and create psychologically safe environments where both people and performance thrive.

As a best-selling author, dynamic speaker, and strategist, Tiffany continues to disrupt traditional leadership development by reframing wellness as a leadership strategy and redefining what it means to truly show up and lead authentically. What sets her apart is her role as The Leadership Analyst™—a groundbreaking approach that allows leaders to finally measure how they actually show up in leadership through her signature frameworks, workshops, and The Leadership Kit™. This has made her an in-demand voice for organizations and conferences around the world. Her mission is simple yet profound: to help leaders discover who they are, why they lead the way they do, define their unique leadership proposition, and master their stress triggers—without performing or losing themselves in the process.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I am my own case study, so I would say that the 3 pillars of my signature framework are the 3 most important skills and areas of knowledge that would summarize my journey:

Self Awareness – it’s been pivotal in knowing Who I Truly Am under the surface, not what I or others think I am.
Self Clarity – once I learned to operate in my awareness, I learned to set Clear, Specific, & Intentional goals & boundaries.
Self Talk – this kind of journey is not for the faint of heart…it’s a grind & it gets grimy. So managing my thoughts, my mindset, & how I talk to myself has been a critical part of my elevation.

Studies show that 95% of people THINK they are self aware but really 10-15% really are. It’s hard to unlearn certain characteristics or behaviors that shaped parts of your identity. But I can assure you that this work helps you to identify the gaps & blindspots along your journey that may be keeping you stuck, worn out, or burnt out.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

This is a loaded question for sure. First & foremost I will say God has been extremely foundational in shaping my healing, success, and ability to overcome challenges. He’s put me in positions to transition in rooms, jobs, & partnerships. He’s aligned me with the right and wrong people to study and learn from. I now know that aligning and collaborating with clients, partners, people, & projects is about WHO not HOW. It’s about finding the right Who that specializes in the How that leads me to my What a lot faster. My mentors, my business partners, my parents, my children, my friends, my family, my mistakes and my failures have all been a very inspirational blueprint in helping me overcome, build, & develop the woman, the friend, the mom, & business professional you see today!
