Meet Cindy Vo

We recently connected with Cindy Vo and have shared our conversation below.

Cindy, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

In order to keep my creativity alive, I try to push myself out of my comfort zone and indulge in experiences. I love meeting people from all walks of life, trying new activities, and reading different genres all in an attempt to keep my mind and heart open.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I started my career as a tattoo artist in California almost 4 years ago but I just recently moved back to Denver over the summer and I’m so happy to be home! I specialize in fineline tattoos and I couldn’t be more excited to be bringing a new tattoo experience to Denver. The best part of my career is the client connections I get to make and I can’t wait to create new ones here.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The three most important factors that were most impactful in my journey thus far has been my hard work ethic, my openness to constructive criticism, and my curiosity. For those starting out, I had no idea what I was in for when I first dipped my toes into tattooing but my hard work and the continuous hours I still put into my craft is so important for successful longevity and sustainability. You must also be willing to accept constructive criticism when necessary and always stay curious! The more you learn, the better! The industry is also always changing as well and it’s best to stay well educated and up to date.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

An ideal client for me would be someone who’s open minded, kind, and has good morals! If you possess all of those characteristics, our tattoos sessions would be so much more meaningful but fun at the same time too!
