Meet Nala Asa Shakur

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nala Asa Shakur. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Nala Asa below.

Nala Asa , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I remember specifically trying to find my purpose in life around 2017 when I first started my healing journey. It took me a while but I knew I had to go within myself to really find my purpose. I had to find out what I was passionate about; what things I did that lit a fire in me. Then, really dissect what my natural talents were; what I could do without overthinking. Finally, figure out how I can do those things to help others. Purpose = passion + talent + service. Once I put my passion of exploring, healing, and counseling with my creative and artistic talent, I knew I was meant to create healing products, services, events, and content to guide women and families back to our nature!

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Im the founder of The All Natural, a natural lifestyle, beauty, and wellness brand devoted to restoring the sacred nature of the feminine. My work centers helping women reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their wombs, and realign with their feminine energy through natural healing, ancestral wisdom, and intentional living.

What started as my personal journey has grown into a full wellness movement. Today, The All Natural offers an expanded product line of herbal teas, oils, tinctures, yoni care, and natural beauty essentials — all crafted with prayer, intention, and the healing of nature. Every blend is made to support every level: physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental.

I’m a teacher and much of my work is that I created educational content across all platforms. I teach women about natural wellness, womb health, herbalism, spiritual alignment, and returning to their natural design. I also host a podcast — #TTALK — which will be returning for Season 4. Through my voice, I get to guide women into deeper self-awareness, accountability, and healing.

I am also the author of the book Love Starts Here, a personal guide that supports you through the highs and lows of the journey of self love. It breaks down energy and frequency so we can overstand how to cultivate healthy love from the inside out. That book has become a foundation for so many of the teachings I share today.

Beyond products and education, I offer personal devices like my Ready to Glow Consultations, where I provide somatic healing, sound therapy, and personalized wellness support. These sessions help women regulate their nervous systems, release stored energy, and reconnect with their inner glow. I also create custom herbal blends and formulations for women who need tailored support.

In addition, I host events and healing experiences that offer a safe space to bring women together in community — to learn, to rest, to reconnect, and to remember who they are.

Most importantly, I create from my own truth and magic. I love to paint, model, creative direct and share my inner workings through many facets.

Overall, everything I do is centered around one mission: helping women return to themselves through nature. My work is special because it is not just a brand — it’s a transformation. It’s a remembrance. It’s revolutionary.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Intuition — trusting my inner guidance.
My entire path has been led by spirit and inner knowing. I had to learn how to hear myself clearly — beyond fear, beyond conditioning, beyond outside opinions and what the world says to do.
My advice: Spend real time alone. Slow down enough to hear when something feels aligned versus rushed or forced. Always ask yourself does this align with my truth?

Discipline — Personal growth, building a brand, writing a book all require consistency. I knew I had to keep going even though I wasn’t seeing the payoff. Discipline taught me how to show up even when results weren’t visible yet.
My advice: Start small and stay steady. Lay one brick a day. Create a rhythm instead of forcing a routine. Rest when necessary but don’t get distracted.

Devotion — Devotion is deeper than discipline . It’s the energy that kept me connected to my purpose through every season — the moments of doubt, the failures, and the frustration. I am devoted to my purpose and to the work that flows through me. I know what I came here to do and I know if I stick to the path that’s what keeps me in alignment with the creator.

My advice: Know your why and know the deeper meaning behind your work. Anchor your work in something bigger than you. Whether it’s breaking generational curses or leaving a legacy for your children. Devotion is spiritual and it will take you further than you can imagine.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Im always open to aligned collaboration. Especially with people and brands who share a similar mission of wellness, feminine restoration, and natural living. I feel for authentic connections and heart centered creators, and passionate purpose walkers.

This includes: Holistic practitioners and healers who support women’s wellness and womb health. Herbalists and medicine women/men who are passionate about plant medicine. Content creators and educators. Even event curators, retreat hosts, and wellness spaces looking to bring healing experiences, somatic sessions, or workshops to their communities. Lastly, I love to work with Photographers, videographers, and creatives who love capturing natural beauty, ritual, and feminine energy.
