Meet William Pierre

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to William Pierre. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

William, first a big thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and insights with us today. I’m sure many of our readers will benefit from your wisdom, and one of the areas where we think your insight might be most helpful is related to imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is holding so many people back from reaching their true and highest potential and so we’d love to hear about your journey and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

When you operate off of passion, you can sometimes psych yourself out further down the line. At times, it could feel like a simulation when you’re doing something you love because you no longer are doing it just because but rather doing it because it’s a passion. imposter syndrome can possibly set in when you begin to have thoughts that you don’t belong a.k.a. psych yourself out. Overcoming this is sometimes difficult, but I try to remember that there is a bigger reason why I’m here in this position.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Hi, my name is William and I work in the music industry as the Artist Manager and A&R. My job is specifically to introduce and help curate new sound and new music to the public while working with various talented musicians in a nutshell. I’ve started my own company a couple years ago called Heart Of A Lion. Under this company, I have worked with multiple talented artists established and just starting out. Moreover, what I’m excited about coming up is not only an artist that I’ve been working with was nominated for Grammy at the 2026 Grammy awards also a long awaited debut EP from an associated artist is set to release very soon. Also, it’s fair to mention that this year has been a lot of up and downs, and has presented a-lot of downtime. Because of this I have took up multiple interest in other industries hoping to bring all industries together in some fashion someday.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Always stay, persistent, determined, and focused. Along the way there are many distractions and sometimes they come from places you least expect. So always stay vigilant.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

I would focus on creating opportunities and pushing the needle forward, not only with my peers, but with the next generation. I would strive to influence them to make positive change in the music industry or whatever industry that they’re in and to push the narrative forward. I also would focus more on teaching children everything I know, and persuade them to understand that once you learn and understand something mentally no one can ever take that away from you.
