Meet Lindsey Eleanor

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lindsey Eleanor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Lindsey, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

In my late twenties, I was working in downtown Boston at an asset-management firm. From the outside, everything looked successful—but internally, I felt disconnected. I didn’t know who I was or what direction my life was supposed to take. I ignored a lot of signs that something needed to change, until I ended up in the ER with a life-altering diagnosis. That moment became my wake-up call. Western medicine could offer treatment, but not a root cause or a sense of meaning. That’s when I knew I needed to understand my dharma—a Sanskrit word meaning our true purpose and the authentic path we are meant to walk.

My search started immediately. I explored different healing modalities, shifted my lifestyle, and committed to meditation. That journey eventually led me to Peru, where I worked with Ayahuasca—an Amazonian plant medicine traditionally used by indigenous communities for spiritual insight and emotional healing. It’s a combination of two plants that create a powerful, guided experience intended to help people explore their inner landscape. While the experience itself was intense and humbling, what influenced me even more were the Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatments that followed each ceremony.
Over those three weeks, something clicked: Ayurveda was the framework I had been searching for.

Ayurveda is an ancient, holistic system of medicine that focuses on balancing the body, mind, and spirit by identifying and addressing the root cause of imbalance. It taught me that self-care is not an occasional indulgence—it’s a daily responsibility if we want to live with clarity, vitality, and purpose. That realization made my path clear. This work—helping people understand and support their own healing—is my dharma.

Since then, I’ve dedicated years to studying Ayurveda and now offer treatments that support the whole person. My goal is to bring a grounded, accessible approach to healing and to help others reconnect with their own capacity for wellness—because ultimately, we are the ones who heal ourselves.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Ayurvedic Alchemy was born from both my personal healing journey and my dedication to sharing the ancient wisdom that transformed my life. Professionally, I am a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Panchakarma Technician, and Marma Point Therapist, and my work centers on holistic wellness, root-cause healing, and restoring balance to the body, mind, and soul.
Before this chapter of my life began, I was working in Boston, where I earned my MBA and had a career in the corporate world. Once I was called to step away from the city and toward a more intentional, aligned way of living, this led me to the peaceful countryside of Maine. Here is where I finally allowed myself to pursue what felt authentic to my dharma. Finding and experiencing Ayurveda’s ancient system of healing resonated with me on every level. Its foundational belief that true wellness comes from understanding our individual constitution and the root cause of imbalance changed the way I viewed health, purpose, and daily living.

Through deep study and immersive training, I developed a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of body, mind, and consciousness. Ayurveda didn’t just give me tools—it gave me a framework for living a balanced and meaningful life. That wisdom is now woven into every offering within my practice.

In addition to Ayurvedic training, I have studied and integrated complementary healing modalities that naturally support and enhance Ayurvedic practices. As a certified Reflexologist, I incorporate the therapeutic power of the feet to influence the entire body, helping clients experience stress relief, improved circulation, and activation of the body’s innate healing processes. My background in yoga, meditation, Reiki, and sound healing further expands these offerings, allowing me to create deeply restorative and personalized sessions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

What I find most special about this work is witnessing people reconnect with themselves—sometimes for the first time in their lives. Ayurveda teaches that healing is not just physical; it’s emotional, spiritual, and energetic. It’s about remembering who we are beneath the noise of daily life and learning how to care for ourselves in ways that are simple, sustainable, and deeply nourishing.

What’s New and What’s Ahead:
As we approach the holiday season and the New Year, Ayurvedic Alchemy will be introducing several new offerings designed to support renewal, balance, and holistic well-being:

• Ayurvedic New Year Body Reset – Renew your body and energy for the year ahead with Abhyanga, Marma therapy, and Swedana steam for detox, balance, and vitality.

• Ayurvedic Intro Package – Reset and balance your body with a personalized dosha consultation, Marma oil therapy, and your choice of 2 add-on treatments for daily wellness to prepare and restore for the year!

• Seasonal Ayurvedic Combo Treatments – Integrative services that combine traditional Ayurvedic body therapies with modern modalities such as Reflexology to enhance circulation, stress relief, and overall energetic alignment.

My mission is simple: to help others experience the kind of clarity, vitality, and inner harmony that Ayurveda brought into my life. Through both ancient and modern healing traditions, I hope to create a safe space where individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered to heal themselves—because true healing begins from within.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. Intuition – Learning to listen inwardly
My journey began when I could no longer ignore the quiet signals my body and mind had been sending. What started as subtle whispers eventually grew into much bigger physical, emotional, and energetic issues that were trying to guide me toward change. Intuition is a form of inner wisdom we often overlook—especially when life is busy, structured, or pulling us in every direction.

Advice: Take time to slow down and create space for stillness, even if it’s just five minutes a day. Journaling, meditation, or simply breathing with intention can help you reconnect with your internal guidance system. The more you listen, the clearer your inner voice becomes.

2. Resilience – The willingness to begin again
Navigating illness, changing careers, and rebuilding a new path required perseverance. Resilience wasn’t about pushing harder—it was about staying open, adaptable, and committed, even when the next step wasn’t clear.

Advice: Build resilience by embracing small challenges instead of avoiding them. Celebrate progress, not perfection. If something doesn’t work out, shift your mindset from “I failed” to “I learned.” Over time, this becomes one of your greatest strengths.

3. A Commitment to Continuous Learning – Staying curious and humble
Ayurveda teaches that we are lifelong students, both of the world and of ourselves. My growth came from being willing to study deeply, take risks, and remain open to ancient and modern healing traditions.

Advice: Follow what genuinely interests you. Take a course, read a book, or learn from someone you admire—but most importantly, apply what you learn. Knowledge becomes powerful when it’s embodied, not just understood in theory.

Final thought
Your journey doesn’t need to look linear or polished. It just needs to be honest. Follow what brings you clarity, energy, and alignment—and trust that each step is part of your unfolding.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

The number one challenge I’m currently facing is the lack of awareness about Ayurveda and its preventive benefits. Many people still think of wellness in terms of treating symptoms after illness arises, rather than taking a proactive approach to prevent dis-ease and support long-term balance. Finding clients who are interested in the value of this holistic, root-cause approach has been a gradual process.

To address this, I’m focusing on sharing the knowledge and benefits of Ayurveda through word-of-mouth, social media, and educational content, helping people understand not just the treatments, but the philosophy and purpose behind them. Over time, this approach is slowly expanding awareness, connecting with those who are ready to embrace a more mindful, preventive approach to wellness.
