Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Yaneli Sainz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Yaneli, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from an entire life of lessons. Ever since I was a kid I was going through things that I didn’t even realize most people weren’t experiencing. At the time it didn’t feel tragic or dramatic it was just the intensity of my life. I never sat there feeling sorry for myself because I didn’t know anything else.
Looking back now, I can see that everything I survived shaped me.
Childhood, friendships, the business I started young, working with all kinds of people. Every chapter taught me something about my own power.
For most of my life, I felt like an outcast. I thought my weirdness was something to hide. I tried to fit into groups that looked shiny on the outside because I always had big dreams but those environments weren’t aligned with who I really was. And a lot of the people I crossed paths with friends, coworkers, even people in my industry it always felt like a power struggle.
This year, something shifted.
I stopped feeding those dynamics. I realized I am whole on my own. I need people around me who know who they are, who can stand next to me as equals, who recognize that energy is everything. Because energy is everything. People can drain you in a second if you’re not aware of what you’re giving away.
And trust me I gave my power away a lot. I partied, I stayed in the scene, I wanted to be seen, I wanted to feel important. I got myself into trouble. I learned the hard way that not everyone deserves access to me.
Even my business journey taught me that. I built something, then left it to take a job in Beverly Hills thinking it would elevate me. Instead, it humbled me. It forced me to hold boundaries, to speak up, to stop people pleasing which is something I did my whole life. Those moments weren’t fun but they made me stronger.
And when I left that job I poured everything into social media… without realizing I was pouring my pain too. I thought I was helping people but I was actually hurting. When the internet came after me (bc eventually things will be mirrored back) I couldn’t touch my phone for weeks. It affected me deeply. And even that became a lesson I had to integrate realizing that I needed to heal before I could create the way I knew I was meant to.
My resilience comes from growing up inside of intensity, learning from every mistake, and refusing to give up on the version of me I always knew I could become.
I’m not perfect, but I’ve always done the best I could with the knowledge I had. And now I finally feel strong, empowered, self aware, and grounded enough to take up the space I was always meant to take.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
What I do is create in a way that encourages people to be their real unfiltered selves. I talk about the parts of us that society usually wants to hide or label as “too much” “too intense” or “too different.” I’ve learned to be comfortable with my own shadows and my own story and I think that’s what makes my work feel special.
What excites me most is helping people feel less ashamed of themselves and more confident standing in their truth. Because once you stop hiding the parts of yourself you think are “wrong” that’s when you actually become whole.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three things that helped me the most were self awareness, emotional resilience, and trusting my intuition. Self awareness kept me honest with myself. Resilience kept me moving even when life humbled me. And my intuition guided me through every transition even when nothing made sense.
My advice for anyone early in their journey is learn to sit with yourself, pay attention to your patterns, and trust the part of you that knows what you need. Your body/intuition tells you everything you need to know.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes, I’m definitely open to collaborating!! I love working with people who are grounded in who they are people who genuinely know themselves and feel confident in their own lane. I’m looking for collaborators who feel like equals, who want to build something real, creative, and authentic.
I work best with people who have a sense of adventure, who are spontaneous in the best way, and who bring good energy into a project. People who care more about the work, the vision, and the impact. People who want to grow, evolve, and create something meaningful together.
At the end of the day, I just want to work with people I can trust people who show up honestly and who are excited to build something bigger than themselves.
Anyone who feels aligned with that can absolutely reach out to me. Collaborations, creative ideas, brand work I’m open. They can connect with me through my Instagram or email.
