Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Keya Trivedi. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Keya , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from a combination of inner strength and the values I have absorbed over time. A big part of it comes from my dad and his influence shaped the way I handle pressure, stay grounded, and keep moving forward even when things get difficult. I have learned to recover from setbacks by staying focused on what I can control, reminding myself that progress isn’t always linear, and refusing to give up when challenges show up. Perseverance has become something I rely on daily, and it helps me face obstacles with a sense of determination rather than fear. My resilience isn’t something I think about consciously, it’s just become a natural part of how I respond to life.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I work in a pharma company as part of the Quality team, and what I genuinely appreciate about this field is the sense of impact behind the work. Knowing that what I do plays a role in ensuring safe, reliable medicines gives my job real substance and keeps me motivated.
In terms of who I am, I am someone who values clarity and intention. I like understanding the purpose behind what I am doing because it helps me stay committed and do my best. I am also a big believer in working smart and using my time well, staying organized, and focusing on what actually moves things forward. For me, effectiveness matters just as much as effort.
Overall, I am someone who takes pride in contributing to meaningful work while constantly trying to grow and improve.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1. Strong attention to detail:
I take pride in being thorough and precise, especially in environments where accuracy directly affects outcomes. It helps me maintain consistency in my work and catch issues before they grow into bigger problems.
2. Clear and practical communication:
I focus on expressing things in a straightforward way so information is easy to understand and act on. This helps reduce confusion and makes collaboration smoother.
3. Steady accountability:
When I commit to something, I follow through. I take responsibility for my tasks and make sure they are completed properly, even when the workload increases or things get complicated.
What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
When I am feeling overwhelmed, I try to slow everything down and tackle one thing at a time. I will usually take a step back, breathe for a second, and figure out what actually needs my attention right now versus what’s just noise. Sometimes I will write everything down so it’s not all bouncing around in my head. Even crossing off one tiny task helps me feel a little more in control. And if I am really stressed, I will take a quick walk, get some air, or do baking, it’s something simple that grounds me . It doesn’t magically fix everything, but it gives me enough clarity to keep going without feeling like I am drowning.
