Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Stacey Lee. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Stacey, so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?
For self care I like to make sure I focus on myself daily every morning before entering the world even on electronics. I pray, meditate, say my mental & verbal affirmations, and shower with peaceful thoughts to start the day. Each week I do something nice for myself. I pamper myself some way monthly rather it be a facial, hairstyle change, new nails, dinner date, etc. I also say “no” when things don’t align, and these all help me to sustain my happiness, boundaries & are ways I participate in self-care.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a multifaceted serial entrepreneur. I am an actress, stretch coach, fitness coach, yoga instructor, model, brand ambassador, bartender, Assistant Director for a Traveling Theater Cast & Crew, Bartender, and Medical Assistant. Each of these career paths have provided me with happiness, an income, and growth in each area as a business woman.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities/skills that were most impactful to my journey were: punctuality, boundaries, and integrity in myself & work ethic. I believe that everyone has to start somewhere but even if you’re unsure of where you’re going always have boundaries set, rules in place, and policies/standards for yourself, your business, and your future so that you can grow in the direction you’re aiming for, and stand in your worth from the beginning.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
My biggest area of growth in the past 12 months has been believing in myself before results. A lot of times we talk ourselves out of our blessings, and opportunities having fear, and self doubt when the plan/vision exists because it’s meant for you; you just have to believe in the vision, and see it through.
