Story & Lesson Highlights with Eduard Kalivoshko

We recently had the chance to connect with Eduard Kalivoshko and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Eduard, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I like to wake up very early — long before the day becomes hectic. With my schedule, those first quiet moments are essential. I start with a coffee while looking out over the picturesque views of Monaco; it’s a ritual that grounds me and gives me clarity before everything accelerates.
And anyone who knows me well will smile at this: early mornings are also the only time my phone is fully charged. Once the day begins, I’m constantly on the move, constantly coordinating, and constantly looking for a charger. So those first 90 minutes feel like a small luxury — a full battery, a clear mind, and a view that always inspires the day ahead.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Beyond luxury travel, I also work in the high-end real estate sector, specialising in sourcing unique homes for a discreet and highly selective clientele. My focus is on exceptional properties — from Alpine chalets and Mediterranean villas to refined urban residences in Monaco, Paris, London, and beyond.

What sets my approach apart is the same philosophy I apply to travel: I don’t show “listings,” I curate possibilities. I understand the lifestyle behind each property and match it carefully with the individual needs, privacy expectations, and aesthetic preferences of my clients. Many of the homes I present are off-market or available only through private networks, which allows my clients access to opportunities that aren’t visible to the general market.
Working in both sectors — travel and real estate — allows me to offer a holistic, trust-based service where people come not only for expertise, but for discretion, intuition, and an understanding of what true luxury living means today.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
I was shaped most by the powerful, driven people I’ve had the privilege to work with throughout my career. When you deal with individuals who operate at the highest level — leaders, founders, visionaries — you quickly understand that excellence is not optional. Their approach to work is precise, fast, and deeply intentional.
From them I learned two things:
first, that discipline and reliability are non-negotiable;
second, that true professionalism is defined not by how much you do, but by how effortlessly the result feels for the person trusting you with their time and privacy.
Observing these people taught me that work ethic is not about intensity — it’s about standards. And once you raise yours, there is no way back.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self to trust the journey a little more. The path won’t always be linear, but every experience — every city, every person, every challenge — will shape you in ways you don’t yet understand. Keep your standards high, stay curious, and don’t worry about fitting into anyone else’s timeline.
Everything you’re working for will come — and it will come at exactly the right moment.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would probably say that what matters most to me is quality — in people, in experiences, and in how I choose to live. I value authenticity, loyalty, and a certain precision in the way things are done. They know I appreciate beauty and comfort, but never at the expense of integrity or genuine connection.
They would also say that I care deeply about the small details others might overlook — the atmosphere of a place, the way someone is treated, the intention behind an experience. For me, those nuances define everything.
In short, they’d say I’m someone who values depth over noise, consistency over flash, and relationships that feel effortless and real.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
I think they would miss the feeling that there is someone who truly gets them. Someone who knows their habits, their preferences, their rhythm — and can translate that into a seamless experience without needing long explanations.
They would miss the late-night messages I always reply to, the quiet problem-solving they never see, and the way I make even the most complicated arrangements feel simple. Many of my clients tell me that I bring calm to their chaos — and I know they would miss that.
But most of all, they would miss the relationship itself. The trust, the loyalty, the sense that I am always on their side, wherever in the world they are.
