We recently had the chance to connect with Tony Vincente and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Tony, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity, without question. Intelligence and energy are powerful tools, but without integrity they can be misused or misdirected. Integrity is the foundation of trust, of leadership, of building something that lasts. It’s how I create, how I lead, and how I show up for the people who believe in me and in Rossario George.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Tony Vincente, Founder and Creative Director of Rossario George — a global luxury lifestyle brand known for bold design, conscious craftsmanship, and inclusive beauty.
Since launching in 2018, we’ve grown into a multi-category house spanning ready-to-wear, accessories, beauty, skincare, and home décor, with features in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and LA Fashion Week.
What makes us unique is our focus on intentional, cruelty-free luxury and storytelling through signature collections like Honey and Uccello.
Right now, I’m expanding our ready-to-wear line, growing our beauty offerings, and preparing to debut new collections that continue to redefine modern luxury.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has to be released is the version that felt the need to apologize for dreaming big. For years I played smaller than my vision because I didn’t want to make others uncomfortable.
That part served its purpose — it kept me grounded, careful, and aware.
But where Rossario George is headed, and where I’m headed as a creator and leader, requires bolder steps, louder confidence, and zero fear of taking up space.
So I’m letting go of the old version of me that dimmed the light. The future demands the one who shines without hesitation.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Absolutely. There were moments—especially early on—when the weight of building a brand felt overwhelming. Times when money was tight, support was thin, and the path forward didn’t look clear at all. I questioned everything… even whether Rossario George was meant to exist.
But every time I got close to giving up, something pulled me back: a message from someone who believed in the brand, a creative breakthrough, or even just a reminder of the younger version of me who dreamed of this life with everything he had.
Those moments taught me resilience. They showed me that what’s meant for you won’t let you quit. And today, when I look at how far the brand has come—and where it’s going—I’m grateful I didn’t.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes and no. The public version of me is absolutely real — the creativity, the passion, the joy I bring to the world through Rossario George all come from a very genuine place. But it’s also curated, polished, and built to inspire.
The private version of me is quieter, more reflective, and sometimes tired from carrying the weight of a growing brand. That version doesn’t always get seen, but it’s the one doing the work, dreaming the dreams, and pushing through the tough moments.
Both are me. One is the light I share with the world. The other is the flame that keeps it burning.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m creating — whether it’s designing a new piece, developing a beauty product, or sketching in silence. Creativity centers me and makes the world feel calm.
But my deepest peace comes from home — quiet mornings with my partner, our little dog curled up beside us, and that sense of love and safety you can’t manufacture.
Those small moments remind me why I work so hard and how beautiful life can be when you pause long enough to feel it.
