We recently had the chance to connect with Adi Klevit and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Adi, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
One of the biggest misunderstandings about my business is the idea that processes restrict creativity. People sometimes hear “systems” and imagine rigidity, bureaucracy, or a company that feels cold and overly controlled. But in reality, it’s the opposite.
Well-built processes don’t kill creativity — they make room for it. When the basics are clear and consistent, people aren’t wasting mental energy reinventing the wheel or fixing the same problems over and over. Systems create stability, and stability is what allows creativity to thrive.
Another misconception is that automation replaces the need for documented processes and procedures. I hear this a lot: “We’re adding tools and automations, so we don’t need to document everything.” But automation only works because a process exists. If the process isn’t clear, automation just speeds up confusion.
So what we really do is help companies create that clarity first — a strong foundation — and then use technology to scale it effectively.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Adi Klevit, and I’m the founder of Business Success Consulting Group. For almost three decades, I’ve helped business owners get out of the daily chaos by turning what’s in their heads into clear, usable processes and procedures. Throughout my career, I’ve seen how the right systems create freedom — for owners and for teams
My brand is built around a simple belief: businesses don’t scale on hustle, they scale on clarity. We work with fast-growing companies that are feeling the strain of growth — lots of people, lots of moving parts, and not enough consistency. Our job is to create a centralized, practical “single source of truth” for how the business runs, and then help the team actually use it. That’s what makes our work special: we don’t just document processes, we make them stick. Team buy-in is everything, and we build that into the way we work.
Right now, I’m continuing to expand our knowledge transfer and systemization services, speaking to founder and leadership audiences, and sharing what I’ve learned through my System Simplified podcast and other teaching platforms. At the core of it all, I’m here to help business owners grow without burning out — and to prove that structure doesn’t kill culture or creativity. When done well, systems support both.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
The first person who really saw me before I could see myself was my very first boss. He interviewed me and gave me my first real job — and it wasn’t a small, safe role. It came with a lot of responsibility, more than I thought I was ready for at the time.
But he saw something in me I hadn’t fully recognized yet. He had real faith in my ability to handle it, and that belief became a turning point for me. Knowing that someone trusted me that much pushed me to rise to the occasion. I wanted to prove him right, and that carried me through doing the job well and realizing, “Oh — I can do this.”
That experience didn’t just help me succeed in that role. It helped me start seeing myself differently — as someone capable of growing into big things, even before I feel fully ready.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self: persist — don’t give up.
There will be obstacles along the way, and some of them will feel personal or discouraging. But they’re not signs to stop — they’re chances to learn, adjust, and grow stronger. Keep moving forward, even when it’s messy or slow.
And just as important, surround yourself with the right people. Find those who believe in you, challenge you, and help you see what’s possible. The people you connect with will shape your confidence and your path more than you realize.
Believe in your goals, in what matters to you, and in what you’re capable of — even before you’re fully sure. If you stay committed and keep showing up, you will succeed.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, absolutely
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I hleped people and truly made a difference
