Good morning Sam, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?

A normal day for me begins by taking off my CPAP machine, spending time in prayer, reading the Word, and doing my devotions. From there, I shift into dad mode—getting my son ready for school as a single father. Once he’s set, I send morning scripture messages to my two oldest children and my dad, which is something I do daily to keep us all grounded in faith.

After that, I turn to my ministry work, starting with my ministry page and then checking in on all of my ministries’ social media and websites to see how things are moving. Alongside that, I balance multiple ventures: Unshackled Faith Apparel, my music ministry, and my newest business, Golden Triangle Hosting. Each day is a mix of spiritual discipline, family responsibility, and entrepreneurial focus—all rooted in Kingdom purpose.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Introduction
My name is Sam, and I’m the founder and creative director of Unshackled Faith Apparel. At its core, our brand is about more than clothing—it’s about carrying the message of freedom and redemption found in the MESSIAH YAHSHUA everywhere you go. Each design is prayerfully crafted to be bold, competitive, and Kingdom-rooted, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with top streetwear brands while remaining unapologetically faith-driven.

What makes Unshackled Faith Apparel unique is the way we integrate scripture, biblical acronyms, and spiritual symbolism into every piece. Our shirts, hoodies, and accessories aren’t just fashion statements—they’re conversation starters, teaching tools, and declarations of faith in YAHSHUA. We believe in excellence in every detail, from font choice to color mapping, because the message of the MESSIAH deserves clarity and credibility.

Alongside the apparel, I’m also building out other Kingdom-centered ventures, including my music ministry and Golden Triangle Hosting. But Unshackled Faith Apparel remains the heartbeat of my creative mission: to inspire believers, spark curiosity in non-believers, and remind everyone that true freedom is found in the MESSIAH YAHSHUA. Right now, we’re working on expanding our collections, refining designs like The Remnant, and launching unified promotions that amplify our reach while staying true to our spiritual foundation.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world tried to define me, I was someone searching for purpose—lost, trying to fill a void in my heart and discover my true identity. Nothing I pursued could satisfy that emptiness. It wasn’t until I encountered the truth and became born again that everything changed. In that moment, the void was filled, and my identity was made complete in my SAVIOR, MESSIAH YAHSHUA.

That’s when my real journey began—when I not only found fulfillment in Him, but also discovered who I was truly created to be. That revelation shaped every part of my life, especially my businesses and ventures. It gave me clarity that my work, whether through Unshackled Faith Apparel, my music ministry, or Golden Triangle Hosting, isn’t just about entrepreneurship—it’s about Kingdom purpose. Knowing my identity in MESSIAH YAHSHUA is what fuels the vision, creativity, and discipline behind everything I do today.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, I can recall multiple times when I almost gave up. After putting in so much effort and seeing little traction in my business, discouragement started to creep in. But I had to remind myself why I do what I do, and more importantly, who I do it for. Success doesn’t happen overnight— even the MOST HIGH didn’t create the world in a single day. He worked for six days and then rested, declaring His creation good in His sight.

That truth reminded me that I must endure the lessons before I can receive the blessings. Every challenge is part of the process, shaping me and preparing Unshackled Faith Apparel to become what I’ve hoped and prayed for it to be. Holding onto that perspective gave me the resilience to keep pressing forward, knowing that in MESSIAH YAHSHUA, the vision will come to pass in His timing.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is the real me. I strive to remain the same person whether I’m behind the scenes or in front of others. At my core, I’m genuine, truthful, and caring, and I make sure those values guide everything I do. That consistency flows directly into my brand—Unshackled Faith Apparel—where every design and piece of merch reflects my heart to serve and uplift others.

For me, it’s not about putting on a persona; it’s about living out my faith with integrity. What people see publicly is simply an extension of who I truly am: a servant of the MESSIAH YAHSHUA, committed to building a brand that encourages, empowers, and connects with the UNFA holy fam in a real and meaningful way.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope people tell about me when I’m gone is that I was a loving and caring man who truly lived out the command to “love your neighbor as yourself.” I want to be remembered as a true man of YAH, someone who walked out his faith daily and let it shape every part of his life.

I also hope people remember me as a devoted family man—one who did all he could to love and care for his family, leading, protecting, and providing for them. As a husband and later as a dad, I want my children to know that I gave them everything I could in love, guidance, and faith. Beyond that, I want to be known as a loyal friend, someone who stood by others with integrity and faithfulness to the core.

Most importantly, I want my legacy to reflect that I put the MESSIAH YAHSHUA front and center in everything—my marriage, my fatherhood, my ministries, my businesses, and even my friendships. If people can say that my life was marked by faith, love, service, and loyalty, then I will have lived the life I was truly called to live.
