We’re looking forward to introducing you to Trevor Rhodes. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Trevor, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I have continued to grow the business that started as a food truck into 3 locations inside the Bluebird market.
Pizza at Melody’s Trattoria, burgers at Chef Daddy’s Grill and Chinese at Ginger Palace.
We have had such an amazing and supportive following that who has made us who we are today! For that we thank everyone who had helped us progress to this point.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Trevor Rhodes and I have opened Melody’s Trattoria, Chef Daddy’s Grill and Ginger Palace all inside the Bluebird market. I have been a chef for many years, I have done food trucks, hotels restaurants, bars you name it, I have done it in hospitality. It is a pleasure to be able to work for myself alongside really good friends and family in a beautiful mountain town.
I look forward to running my businesses for many years to come and to always keep the company name successful.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I would have to give all my thanks and all my inspiration to my beautiful daughter and my family, without them none of this would have been as successful and as wonderful as it is today.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I have never believed in giving up, I believe in working harder and committing to be the best I can be.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I’m pretty sure that all my friends definitely know that the thing that matters most to me in this world is my daughter my success and my businesses.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I would hope that everyone would remember me as a hard, devoted worker that loved his family. I hope everyone always remembers the food and where it came from.
