Dustin Tuttle shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Dustin , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Are you walking a path—or wandering?
Both. I’m wandering on a path.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m work in construction/carpentry/ woodworking living in yucca valley. I do a little bit of everything but not certain things. Not exactly finish carpentry but am getting there. I enjoy working with reclaimed lumber and have an abundance of salvaged wood I’ve been collecting.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
People pleasing.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering makes success. At least makes it that much more rewarding.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
Everybody is doing their best in this moment.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Making decisions based on fear.
