We’re looking forward to introducing you to Alberto Garcia-Uria. Check out our conversation below.

Alberto, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity is most important to me. It speaks of your character

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Alberto Garcia-Uria. I am a Cuban born artist based in Cathedral City CA. I have a studio./gallery at the Perez Art District in Cathedral City where I not only feature my work but art by two other local artists.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My father was a hard working man that did whatever he could and needed to in order for us to live a safe and well balanced life. Even though we may not have been in the best of financial situations, he never made us feel that we were in need. When we left Cuba and he was forced to begin again in a foreign country, he managed to do this without complaining. I learned from him mot to be afraid of work.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Learn from your mistakes. Look at the challenges you will face as a necessary part of your journey. You will be fine

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My friiends would say that I consider loyalty to be what matters to me the most.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
