Nate the Great shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Nate, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
Back then, the past version of me was wandering directionless trying to find himself & who he is as a both an artist and person. Now this year 2025 has aligned me back to a path of enlightenment and purpose.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello there, lovely people of the multi web that are reading this! I am Nate the Great. I am an artist, YouTuber, producer, author, content creator and wrestling enthusiast. I just recently turned 27 back in July & I have been doing music for about 12 years now. Loving every second of it as I also just dropped a new album called Ego Death that same month and I am currently recording another album at the time this interview will be published.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
When I was growing up I experienced a lot of bullying both in person and online mainly because of a scar that consists of third degree burns on my forehead that I have had since I was an infant at 6 months old where I had a near death experience. It made me both insecure and made me feel like I was the most hideous person on the planet. But then my music teacher in high school Mr. Underhill told me one day that “As a king you walk with a crown & that scar is your crown so wear it proudly.” And I stand here to this day proud with my crown and showing the royalty within me.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
Before music made its way came into the picture, my main escapes were Anime, wrestling, movies, video games and literature have always been there for me through my darkest times.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
What you see online and in person is the same person you’re gonna see instantly.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
The only person that should acknowledge and give praise to me and my best is the person that’s doing it which is me. Even if no one’s watching, continue to give 120% effort, consistency and passion behind what you love and what you want to leave behind in this world.
