Meet Keia Kelly

We were lucky to catch up with Keia Kelly recently and have shared our conversation below.

Keia, so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.

I persist through love. And not the fluffy kind☺️the real, grounded kind. Love is commitment, compassion, and choosing purpose over ego. Over the years, I’ve learned that when you have haters or naysayers, you’re probably doing something right. They don’t break into empty houses.
I also see it as motivation. My mother taught me early on that confidence builds resilience, and resilience creates an unshakeable work ethic. That lesson has stayed with me.
I’ve always known my purpose is to help others..whether that’s through healing, listening, caring, or guiding. When you’re rooted in faith, clear in your purpose, and persistent in your goals, dedication solves what doubt cannot.
So honestly? I thank the haters and naysayers. They push me to think bigger, refine my vision, and let’s be real..sometimes they even help boost the marketing. 😉

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

By day, I’m a dedicated childcare provider and by night, a motivational coach (yes, I lovingly joke that I wear two capes 😄). What makes my work especially special is how naturally these two worlds intertwine. Every day, I support families by nurturing their children, and beyond that, I offer motivational guidance to friends and even strangers who simply need an extra ear, encouragement, or grounded advice during pivotal moments in their lives.
I’ve been a childcare provider since 2011, starting from a small but heartfelt vision that has grown into a purpose-driven practice. I work closely with children ages 2–5 within my community, including children with disabilities, and I’m deeply committed to creating a loving, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and free to be authentically themselves. I truly believe we are nurturing our upcoming little leaders helping shape a healthier, more loving future for our communities.
I’m also excited to share that my motivational services will be launching on PropheticButterfly111 (111pbfly) TikTok and Instagram under the handle PropheticButterfly111, where I’ll be offering uplifting guidance, encouragement, and intentional conversations for those seeking clarity and growth.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been discernment, intentional self-reflection, and leading with purpose. Learning to trust my discernment..to pause, be still, and truly listen has guided both my personal and professional path. Taking time to meditate and listen to my heart allows me to move with clarity and pure intentions, which is how passion is created and sustained. That alignment is what builds excitement and leads to a career you genuinely enjoy growing every day.
For those early in their journey, my advice is to be still and listen to your heart, your conscience, or your inner voice, whatever resonates most with you..but above all, follow it! When you take time to make decisions that are truly for you, and choose what inspires and speaks to you daily, that’s where your drive and passion are formed. Stay consistent, allow your creativity to unfold, and trust the process of turning vision into reality. Most importantly, always believe in yourself! Regardless of the noise or the naysayers. Your vision was given to you for a reason, and it’s meant for you to understand first.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

If I knew I only had a decade of life left, I would spend that time intentionally sharing love with the world. I would focus on creating joy within my community and beyond ..expanding hope for future generations and helping others believe in what’s possible. Every step would be guided by purpose: following my dreams, uplifting lives, and building something meaningful that my family can carry forward as a living legacy.
I truly believe love is the highest vibration, and I can’t express that enough. When you lead with love, doors open.. opportunities expand in ways you could never force. One of the most impactful gifts my parents gave me was teaching that love conquers all and bears all things. That lesson has shaped how I move through life. Speak what you want into existence, have faith in the unseen, and continue to follow your dreams. When love leads, everything else falls into alignment.
