We were lucky to catch up with Bianca Bee recently and have shared our conversation below.
Bianca, first a big thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and insights with us today. I’m sure many of our readers will benefit from your wisdom, and one of the areas where we think your insight might be most helpful is related to imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is holding so many people back from reaching their true and highest potential and so we’d love to hear about your journey and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
“Honestly, I overcame imposter syndrome by deciding I was done shrinking. For years I booked major talent, produced high-level segments, built my own brand, and still felt like I had to prove that I deserved to be in the room. I also realized that I deserve to be there. Why not me? I have given more than ten years to my dreams, my craft, and becoming the woman I always saw myself as.
One day it clicked. If I can put other people on TV for a living and elevate their stories, why am I doubting my own? So I stopped waiting for permission and started owning my expertise. I leaned into my preparation, my work ethic, my creativity, and the receipts I’ve built over the years.
Every time I pushed myself to try something new, pitch bigger guests, create content, or invest in my brand, that confidence stacked. Now when imposter syndrome shows up, I remind myself that I am not lucky, I am blessed. I earned my seat. I worked for it. And the version of me who doubted herself cannot sit with the woman I’m becoming.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m Bianca Bee, a celebrity talent booker, author, and owner of BFF Cosmetics Company. I’ve spent more than ten years building a career that blends media, beauty, and storytelling. What excites me most is that I get to create opportunities, whether I’m booking major guests for television or developing products that help women feel confident and beautiful.
BFF Cosmetics is a big part of my brand because it represents creativity, femininity, and ownership, all things I stand for as an entrepreneur. And as an author, I share the lessons I’ve learned along the way to inspire women to elevate their mindset, their brand, and their voice.
Everything I do is about empowering women to show up boldly and build the life they want. My journey has been all about creating my own lane, and I want people to know that you can be multi-passionate, you can reinvent yourself, and you can turn your vision into something real.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, the three biggest qualities that shaped my journey were my work ethic, my confidence, and my ability to pivot. I’ve always been the girl who shows up early, shows up prepared, and shows up with intention. That work ethic opened doors long before people even knew my name. Confidence was the next layer and not the loud kind, but the kind where you trust yourself, your ideas, and the value you bring. And pivoting has been everything. This industry changes fast, and I had to learn how to adjust, reinvent, and stay ahead without letting fear stop me.
My advice for anyone early in their journey is simple. First, outwork the room. Your consistency will speak for you before you even open your mouth. Second, build confidence through action. You don’t wait to feel ready, “you become ready by doing.” And lastly, don’t be afraid to pivot. Your path won’t be perfect, but every shift teaches you something, introduces you to someone, or moves you closer to where you’re supposed to be.
Those three qualities carried me, protected me, and pushed me into rooms I used to pray for.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
There are a few books that have played a major role in my development. ‘The Secret’ was the first that shifted my mindset and taught me the power of intention. ‘The 48 Laws of Power’ helped me understand people and strategy. ‘Think and Grow Rich’ expanded how I saw success as an entrepreneur. Working for Mel Robbins also made her books especially impactful for me. ‘The 5 Second Rule’ taught me to stop overthinking and take action, and her new book ‘Let Them’ is full of gems about releasing control and letting people be who they are. Each of these books helped shape my confidence, my discipline, and the way I move through life and business
