Meet Gavis Dean

We were lucky to catch up with Gavis Dean recently and have shared our conversation below.

Gavis, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

I believe in God and I try to walk a righteous Path, so when you’re doing that – the first rule is to stay optimistic, you have to believe that everything is working out in your favor and everything will align the way it’s supposed to when the time is right.

Optimism for me is really a way of life.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a Rapper, Singer, Songwriter, I model and produce Content online, as well as Live Streaming.

All those things make up “Gavis Dean”. Music is obviously the love of my life and the main component, but just like a house, it takes different Materials to build it. So everything that I do besides that, with Content, Streaming etc. really helps and solidifies my Brand. It’s all things that I love and am passionate about, so it works together in Harmony.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Self Believe
2. Optimism
3. Hustle

It’s about the combination of all those things – you have to believe that you will reach your goal, otherwise you will never reach it, especially when challenges and hardship encounter you, this is where you need the self believe to keep going.

With the optimism, it works of course hand in hand with the self believe, but you can believe in it and still feel down and out due to current circumstances, this is where the optimism comes into play, you need to stay in that positive energy that no matter what is currently taking place in your life – that somehow someway you will get over this and reach your desired destination.

And then last and def. never least – is the hustle. On the most simple therms – life is a combination of days., so that means they compound and over time – we call that a lifetime. Well the same is with working, when you continuously work on something – over time it begins to take shape and form. That’s why you have to combine the self believe with the actual work, as with everything in life – it needs ACTION. So keep the self believe, stay optimistic and put the work in and over time things will fall into place.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

I think when you are truly aligned with yourself, with God/The Universe you receive a lot of Spiritual Nudges, it’s up to the person to listen to those and actually follow through on them.

One Key thing for me in my development has certainly been – self honesty.

As it’s something I preach online to my fans, viewers and community as well.

Look, mistakes are bound to happen, things are sometimes gonna go left, now in order to reach whatever goal you have in mind, some adjustments are going to be needed, for one – as there is always room for improvement , and 2 – times are always changing, to the only constant is change, that’s why you have to stay adaptable and make those necessary adjustments. And how do you do them? Well by being honest with yourself. The more honest you can be with yourself, about your behavior, mindstates etc etc, the faster you can fix those and get to where you are destined to go.
