We were lucky to catch up with Michelle Gines recently and have shared our conversation below.
Michelle , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I’d say resilience is something I’ve learned to see as a quiet, steady flame rather than a loud battle cry. It’s not about never bending; it’s about knowing where your roots lie. For me, resilience has always come from a place of faith and alignment. It’s that sense that when life gets turbulent, I can pause, reflect, and realign with what truly matters. I often say resilience is like a “quiet strength” we build wisely, consistently, intentionally.
In my journey, resilience wasn’t about pushing through noise or hustling harder. It was about finding harmony and purpose even in challenges. I learned that resilience is not about proving yourself in the eyes of the world, but about staying deeply aligned with your inner compass and your faith. That’s where real resilience is born.
I’d invite anyone reading this to reimagine resilience not as a survival mechanism, but as a pathway to living with peace and purpose. It’s that quiet success that’s rooted in clarity and a deep sense of alignment. And if you’re curious to explore how to bring that kind of resilience into your own life or work, I’d love to share more in our upcoming resources.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
In everything I do, my heart is to guide others from idea to implementation. I lead two brands that embody this purpose. As the founder of Purpose Publishing, I help authors transform their manuscripts into meaningful, messages and best sellers. It’s not just about publishing a book; it’s about unlocking the author’s voice and message that aligns with their purpose.
Alongside that, I run Expertise Unleashed, where I help professionals and entrepreneurs turn their experience into income streams through books, courses, and strategic consulting. What excites me most is seeing someone move from feeling stuck to realizing they have everything they need to make an impact. I always say that clarity is a superpower, and it’s a joy to help others find it.
Right now, I’m excited about a few new launches. We’re rolling out a “Book by Christmas” publishing package that helps aspiring authors get their books out by the holidays. We’re also expanding our “Expertise Unleashed” offering a new 10-week course on building a faith-centered business platform. And on the horizon, we have the upcoming Chosen Luxury Experience that help women find quiet success and spiritual alignment.
At the core of it all, I believe that when we align strategy with soul, we create not just noise, but lasting transformation. If you’re reading this and it resonates, I invite you to step into our world; whether it’s through our upcoming events, our coaching, or simply exploring how to bring your vision to life with a bit more peace and purpose.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
When I look back, I’d say there are three core qualities that truly shaped my journey: clarity, compassion, and conviction. These aren’t just skills; they’re pillars that anchor everything I do. Clarity is that ability to see through the noise and know what truly matters, compassion is leading with heart and empathy, and conviction is staying true to your purpose even when the path isn’t easy.
For anyone at the start of their journey, I’d say this: begin by cultivating clarity. Take time to pause and reflect on what you truly value and where you want to go. Align your actions wisely, consistently, intentionally with that vision. Next, lead with compassion both for yourself and others. Remember that growth is a journey, and it’s okay to move at your own pace. Finally, hold onto your conviction. Trust that your unique voice and purpose have a place in this world.
In my experience, the most powerful transformations happen when we blend these qualities. It’s not about perfection or performance; it’s about aligning with your purpose and letting that guide your path. And if you’re looking for a space to explore that, I’m here to help you find that quiet strength and clarity to move forward.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m always on the lookout for partners who share a heart for purpose-driven work. If you’re someone who’s passionate about blending faith and strategy, or if you’re an author, coach, or entrepreneur looking to bring your vision to life, I’d love to connect. I believe in collaborations that are rooted in shared values those who see success not just as a hustle, but as a way to create meaningful impact and serve others.
If that sounds like you, I invite you to reach out. You can connect with me through my website, drop me a note on LinkedIn, or join one of our upcoming events or workshops. I believe that the best collaborations come from a place of quiet strength and mutual alignment, and I’m excited to see how we can create something truly impactful together.
