Story & Lesson Highlights with Christopher Najarro of Las Vegas

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Christopher Najarro. Check out our conversation below.

Christopher, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
People think high-rise real estate is all views and vibes. It’s not. The truth is 90% of the work happens long before a client ever steps into a lobby. It’s knowing which buildings are actually worth owning in, which floor plans hold value, where the HOA is strong, and where a buyer is about to inherit someone else’s headache.

The other misconception is that this is just a “sales job.” It isn’t. It’s matchmaking. People come to Vegas looking for a certain lifestyle privacy, convenience, lock-and-leave living, or a front-row seat to the Strip. My job is to learn what they really want and point them toward the building that fits, even if it’s not the one they originally had their eye on.

And honestly, most people underestimate how much trust this business requires. A lot of my clients aren’t even in Nevada when we start. They’re relying on my eyes, my experience, and my judgment to keep them from making a bad move. Once they feel that I’m protecting their upside, that’s where the long-term relationships start.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Christopher Najarro a Las Vegas local, high-rise realtor, and father to two incredible sons. I’m the founder and team lead of The Najarro Group at Simply Vegas, where the words Beyond Real Estate guides everything we do. I help clients make smart, strategic moves in a fast-evolving market, combining deep tower expertise with a clear understanding of the lifestyle they want to build.

I also serve as the Developer & Real Estate Advisor for the BRE 3D-Printed Homes Initiative, advancing attainable, future-focused housing in Las Vegas & Henderson Nevada in addition to being the founder of Najarro Design Concepts (NDC), an interior design and staging service.

At my core, I’m a leader, a connector, and a builder committed to creating a better life for my clients, my community, and my boys.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My sons, even before they were old enough to say it out loud. They forced me to level up, to lead with intention, and to operate like someone capable of building a bigger life not just for me, but for them. Kids have a way of reflecting back the version of you that you’re supposed to grow into, and they did that long before I fully stepped into it.

And in business, it was a small handful of people who watched how I thought, how I communicated, and how I handled the challenges I faced. They saw the leadership, strategy, and resilience in me at times when I was still just trying to grind through the next step. Their belief didn’t inflate my ego it was an anchor that helped to hold me accountable. It pushed me to become the person they knew I was.

In my life, the people who saw me clearly did it through action and strong support, not compliments. That’s what made it real and something I will never forget.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
The defining wounds in my life came from seasons where I had to step up before I felt ready becoming a father, losing family and friends, rebuilding after relationships ended, bouncing back from career setbacks, and carrying responsibilities that demanded I get back up and grow fast. Those moments exposed the gap between who I was and who I needed to become.

I healed by owning my choices, tightening my discipline, and turning those hits into fuel instead of excuses. My boys played a huge role in that. They gave me a reason to elevate, not retreat to build a stronger version of myself with intention and clarity.

Every loss became a lesson, and every lesson sharpened my direction.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to creating and contributing to projects that leave a lasting impact for future generations.

That’s why I’m investing so much time and energy into the BRE 3D-Printed Homes Initiative. It’s not a quick project it’s a long-term vision to bring attainable, future-forward housing to Las Vegas, even if it takes years to get it right.

I’m equally committed to personal growth that’s non-negotiable. Being a loving, supportive partner, a present father and provider, a stronger leader, and a disciplined operator.

Sometimes results come fast, sometimes one area of life demands more attention than the others but when I’m in a true flow state, it feels like time expands and is truly on my side. Regardless of the challenges, the mission stays the same: build, improve, and leave people and places better than I found them.

That’s the belief I’m committed to living every day I’m blessed to experience.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What light inside you have you been dimming?
For a long time, I dimmed the part of myself that’s meant to lead boldly not just in business, but in life. The part that thinks bigger, moves with conviction, and owns what I want and the direction I’m heading.

In the past, I would shrink pieces of myself to keep the peace, avoid conflict, or make other people comfortable. But that way of being only stalled my growth and disconnected me from myself, my kids, and the people who rely on me to do my best work.

Every time I dimmed my light, I wasn’t living honestly or intentionally. I was holding back my thoughts, my ambition, my focus, and my ability to create and execute at a high level. Hiding that is no longer an option. My values and standards for the life I’m living and building have been raised and there’s no turning back.

That light was always there. I just stopped apologizing for it and learned to own it.
