Bounce, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Riding motorcycles;)

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hafa adai!!!
I’m Bounce Cruz.
I’m one of the front men, solo acoustic, and session artist.
My bands name ST1reggae @st1reggaeofficial
And I’m @bounce671. We fuse roots rock reggae mainly and play a whole other assortment of music but reggae is what we mainly do. Driving riddims, metal-ish solos, and vocal harmonies to round it all out.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My wifey may ride or die. Showed me what a “normal family life” is.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
It shapes you become successful if you survive instead of blaming the whys. Suffering teaches you that no matter how bad it is it can only get better. (A bunch of times)

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
I’m from Guam. But pretty much any islander. We are very proud of where we come from. So would say I would die for the culture.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
The entertainment business is one of those things where everytime you work (perform) you have to make connections with your fans. Make them feel a type of way about you and what you’re brining. Find that common ground and make it special on an individual level. Not like talk to everyone but weather it’s a look, a compliment l, a simple thank you. That’ll make their day;)
