Meet Liz Jones

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Liz Jones a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Liz, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

My generosity comes from Jesus Christ. I’ve experienced His love and grace in my own life, and giving to others feels like a natural response to that. It genuinely brings me joy to serve and give without expecting anything in return. I believe what we’re given isn’t meant to be held onto, but shared, and living that out is something that brings a lot of purpose and fulfillment to my life.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

At this stage of my life, I’m focused on building a life and career that aligns with my values. I’m a wife and a mother of two, and that role deeply shapes everything I do and the way I approach my work. Professionally, I work in agriculture and direct-to-consumer beef through our family businesses, Prairie Cross Ranches and American Natural Beef, where we raise cattle with an emphasis on stewardship, quality, and transparency.

What feels most exciting and special is creating something that’s both meaningful and sustainable for our family while also serving others well. Whether it’s providing clean, responsibly raised beef or sharing pieces of motherhood, faith, and ranch life online, my goal is to be honest and intentional in everything I put out into the world.

I also offer birth photography, which has been a really meaningful creative outlet for me. Capturing such sacred, life-changing moments for families is an honor, and it’s something I approach with a lot of reverence and care. Overall, my brand is rooted in faith, family, and simplicity, and I hope that through my work, people feel encouraged to slow down, live more intentionally, and stay connected to what truly matters.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the three things that have been most impactful in my journey are faith, perseverance, and a willingness to learn. My faith has been my foundation and compass, helping me make decisions with purpose and trust even when the path felt uncertain. Perseverance has mattered just as much. Building a life and business takes time, and staying committed through seasons that don’t bring immediate results has been essential. The third has been being open to learning, whether that’s seeking mentorship, asking questions, or being humble enough to grow as I go.

For those early in their journey, my advice would be to start by grounding yourself in what truly matters to you and let that guide your decisions. Don’t rush the process or compare your timeline to others. Stay consistent, stay teachable, and be willing to do the unseen work. Growth comes from showing up faithfully day after day, even when it feels slow.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes, I’m open to partnerships and collaborations that align with my values. I enjoy working with individuals and brands that care about integrity, faith, family, and quality. The most meaningful collaborations feel genuine and purpose-driven.
