Meet Mallory Callaghan

We recently connected with Mallory Callaghan and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Mallory with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

From a young age, my father significantly shaped my work ethic. Growing up in a single-parent household, he showed me the true value of hard work. As a union laborer specializing in bridge and highway construction, he would leave the house at 1 AM and work tirelessly until 11 the next morning , always making sure to be home by the time I got back from school. No matter how tough things got, his positive spirit never wavered. One of my favorite pieces of advice from him was to always be kind to everyone, as you never know what they’re dealing with in their own lives. Those lessons, combined with his sacrifices and constant encouragement, have laid the groundwork for my own work ethic throughout the years.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m embracing an exciting new chapter as an artist, where my roles as a makeup artist, hairstylist, and beauty educator intertwine. Having recently relocated to Arizona, I’m navigating fresh opportunities and exploring different avenues in my career. Currently, I’m involved in sales and expanding into new markets, including high-end jewelry. However, my true passion continues to revolve around weddings and special events. There’s something incredibly rewarding about connecting with individuals on the most important days of their lives and helping them create unforgettable memories! The beauty industry will always be my home, where I flourish and strive to make a meaningful impact.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Reflecting on the three key moments that shaped who I am today is a challenge, but one experience stands out above the rest. It was the first wedding I ever booked, and the clients were incredibly kind, offering me an opportunity that I felt I didn’t quite deserve at the time. On the way that morning, it started snowing heavily, and I took it as a sign that perhaps I shouldn’t have been given this chance.

Despite the tough conditions, the day turned out wonderfully. Everyone was thrilled with the results, and I walked away not only with a wealth of experience but also a newfound confidence. From this pivotal moment, I learned three important lessons: I am qualified to be in this space, I must always give 100% to my craft and ensure that everyone enjoys a fantastic experience, and most importantly, I must never stop pursuing my dreams.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m incredibly excited about the possibility of collaborating with others—it’s truly a dream of mine! I’m eager to delve deeper into the educational aspect of my business and to develop seminars or classes aimed at empowering women to feel their very best. Over time, I’ve put together a simple and effective routine to help women incorporate self-care into their daily lives. If you share my passion for this mission, I would love to connect!
