Meet Cassandra Neece

We recently connected with Cassandra Neece and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Cassandra , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

This was a question that I felt so deeply lost on for quite awhile. I think we all go through moments in our lives where we wonder, “what is my purpose?” or “how can I feel more purposeful in my day to day life?”

I don’t think that we ever truly find a singular purpose and everything feels like it’s aligned in an instant. It’s a continuous journey of moving towards a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment and that starts with following what brings you joy. For me, that meant following the things I was interested in, learning more about them and then exploring how I could weave more of that into my day to day life and be of service to others.

I took a look at the skills I had and enjoyed offering to others and realized THAT is my purpose. To be deeply in touch with my natural skills, talents, and the things that I’m drawn to and then offer those things to others in a way that brings me joy and excitement. I’ve found that being of service to others with those natural skills and talents creates a sense of purpose and meaning.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I support folks in the mental health and well-being space to align their unique purpose with their digital presence. I do this through creating brands and digital eco systems (i.e. websites) that authentically reflect who they are and inspire their ideal clients to engage with their work. I deeply believe that we all have a unique purpose in this life and when that purpose aligns with starting a business that helps make the world a better place, that’s where I come in! I love working with heart-centered folks who are here to create a positive-ripple effect in the world. It lights me up when I hear from my clients how much their website and brands feel like them. It means I’ve done my job well because they are confident and excited to put their work out into the world in a bigger way!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The first quality that was really impactful in my journey was the ability to simply try, and figure it out along the way. I didn’t wait for the “perfect” time to go for creating a business and offering my skills to the world – I just let myself go for it, fumble and figure it out each step at a time.

The power of networking with people cannot be underestimated. Getting out there to meet new people who either do similar work or who might be your ideal clients (or connected to them) is vital. Especially in today’s day and age where people are craving real, authentic connection with other people. Growing your network is truly the fastest way to grow your client base.

One last area of knowledge I’ll share is the ability to keep getting curious about who you are authentically and how you can reflect more of that into your work and your digital presence. As I was growing my business for awhile I was taking on any and all the clients that came to me. But then I slowly started niching down to working only with people who really resonated with me and aligned with other interests that I had so the work always felt inspiring and energizing because it was a reflection of what I cared about too.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

Both of my parents showed me what it’s like to follow what your passionate about even if that doesn’t look like a traditional 9-5 job working for someone else. They showed me what it meant to be an entrepreneur, sometimes piecing together a bunch of part time jobs to support their family. That example has been so powerful for me because it has given me the confidence to go after what brings me fulfillment and purpose even if that is outside the “norm.”
