Meet Anthony Trujillo

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Anthony Trujillo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Anthony, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

I keep my creativity alive by discovering new sources of inspiration for my designs. I work on the areas I feel I lack inspiration and create designs out of my comfort zone.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am incredibly excited for the new year and the fresh ideas I am bringing to life. Stylish Culture is more than just a clothing brand; it is a movement that empowers Indigenous individuals to express their identity with pride. Every design carries a story, woven with culture, meaning, and purpose.

In 2026, Stylish Culture is expanding its mission by focusing on supporting Indigenous students across Southern California school districts. This new direction builds on the momentum from this past year, when the brand partnered with three local schools and donated T shirts to honor all Indigenous graduates.

Stylish Culture continues to grow not only as a brand, but as a positive force for representation, creativity, and community uplift.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that had the greatest impact on my journey were resilience, creativity, and community awareness. Resilience helped me stay grounded through challenges and setbacks, teaching me to adapt, learn, and keep moving forward even when progress was slow. Creativity allowed me to bring new ideas to life, experiment, take risks, and create work that reflects who I am. Community awareness guided me in understanding and serving the people around me, giving my work meaning beyond myself.

For those early in their journey, the best way to develop these qualities is to embrace mistakes as learning opportunities, stay curious and open to new ideas, and actively engage with and listen to your community. Growth takes time, but by consistently showing up and practicing these qualities, your journey will unfold in meaningful ways.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

I am grateful for the support of family and friends, who have helped me navigate and overcome challenges along the way. Much of my business knowledge is self-taught, and I embrace the understanding that there is always room for growth. Every day presents an opportunity to learn new and essential skills that contribute to my personal and professional development.
