Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Marcin Gorski. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Marcin, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I found my purpose through hospitality, long before I ever had language for it. From the start of my career, I was drawn to the human side of the work: making people feel welcome, safe, and seen in moments when they were far from home. Over time, I realized it wasn’t just about hotels or service standards, it was about connection.
As I grew in my career, that sense of connection expanded beyond guests. I became more interested in the stories behind the people I worked with, the communities we served, and the quiet impact kindness can have on someone’s life. That realization is what led to the creation of EverKind Collective.
EverKind is an extension of everything hospitality taught me. That small, intentional actions matter, that people carry more than we see, and that creating space for others can change lives. My purpose sits at the intersection of service and storytelling: building environments, projects, and platforms where people feel valued, represented, and encouraged to live boldly.
Hospitality showed me how to care for people. EverKind gave me a way to do it on a broader, more meaningful scale.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Professionally, I’ve always been focused on people. My background is in hospitality, but what drew me to the industry, and what keeps influencing my work today, is the opportunity to create moments where someone feels genuinely welcomed, understood, or cared for. Over time, I realized that the most meaningful part of my work wasn’t the role or the title, but the connections being made within those spaces.
That realization is what led me to build EverKind Collective, a purpose-driven brand centered on kindness, storytelling, and community impact. EverKind exists to celebrate people who are doing good in the world, amplify voices that deserve to be heard, and remind others that kindness, in all its forms, still matters. At its core, the brand is about creating meaningful connections, whether through stories, creative projects, or community-focused initiatives.
What excites me most is how EverKind bridges worlds. It brings together my experience in hospitality with my passion for storytelling, creativity, and social impact. Everything we create is rooted in the belief that people don’t need to be perfect or have massive platforms to make a difference, they just simply need to show up with intention.
Currently, EverKind Collective is growing into a multi-layered platform. This includes EverKind Books, a line of children’s books designed to inspire empathy, inclusivity, and self-expression while giving back to meaningful causes; EverKind Voices, a storytelling platform highlighting individuals and organizations creating positive change; and ongoing community-based projects that encourage everyday acts of kindness.
What I want readers to know most is that EverKind isn’t about me, it’s about creating space for others. Whether someone is a creative, a business owner, an advocate, or simply someone trying to do good where they are, EverKind is meant to be a place where those efforts are seen, valued, and celebrated.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, three things have had the biggest impact on my journey: empathy, adaptability, and consistency.
Empathy was shaped early through hospitality. When you work with people day in and day out, you learn quickly that everyone is carrying something you can’t see. Understanding that, and responding with patience and care, has influenced how I lead, how I create, and how I show up in the world. For anyone early in their journey, my advice is simple: listen more than you speak. Pay attention to people, not just outcomes. Empathy is a skill, and it’s built through curiosity and presence.
Adaptability became essential as my career evolved and as I began building EverKind Collective. Hospitality teaches you to think on your feet. Plans change, challenges arise, and no two days look the same. That ability to adjust without losing your sense of purpose has been invaluable. To develop it, say yes to learning opportunities, even when they feel uncomfortable. Growth rarely comes from staying where things feel safe.
Finally, consistency has mattered more than talent or timing. Showing up, especially on the days when progress feels slow, is what builds trust, momentum, and credibility. Whether it’s leading a team, launching a creative project, or growing a mission-driven brand, small, steady effort compounds over time. For those just starting out, focus less on perfection and more on persistence. The people who keep going are the ones who ultimately make the greatest impact.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely. Collaboration is at the heart of EverKind Collective.
EverKind was built on the belief that meaningful change doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens when people with shared values come together. I’m always open to collaborating with creatives, writers, illustrators, educators, advocates, small businesses, nonprofits, and community builders who care about kindness, inclusion, storytelling, and impact.
Some people come to EverKind with a fully formed idea; others simply have a desire to contribute or give back but aren’t sure where to start. Both are welcome. Whether it’s partnering on a children’s book, contributing to EverKind Voices, supporting community initiatives, or co-creating projects that encourage empathy and connection, the goal is always the same: to create something meaningful that helps others feel seen and supported.
What matters most isn’t scale or status, it’s intention. EverKind is for people who believe that small actions add up, that stories have power, and that kindness is something worth building around.
For anyone reading this who feels aligned, the best way to connect is through everkindcollective.com or by reaching out directly via social media. EverKind is designed to grow through relationships, and I’m always excited to see what can happen when the right people come together.
