Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Backwood Biddy. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Backwood Biddy, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
With music, I DJ’d for other artists before I hit the stage myself. That enabled me to learn from others mistake, and helped me to prevent myself from doing the same thing. Over time, with my music gaining traction and making guest appearances at many shows I developed that confidence in my craft.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Find me anywhere you listen to your music. I’ve released several projects, have many music videos, and plenty of tracks to get lost in. I’m currently in the process of mastering my next tape “BACK 2 BACKWOOD”!! The sequel to the “BIG BACKWOOD” mixtape!!
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back I would have to say the most important quality to have was patience. A lot of artists can get lost in the numbers, and they lose track of the art. Understanding that the art will speak for itself and giving it the time to do so is important. Stay dedicated and consistent, those are also very important!
How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
Work-Life Balance. With music & entertainment being my work it is hard to find a good work-life balance. Music & Entertainment go good with everything in life, so finding the proper times and channels to make resonating music while also being a father can be difficult!
