Alexis , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I found my purpose by creating a solution to the lifelong struggle I’ve faced with eczema and hyperpigmentation. To find my purpose, I had to struggle. I had to cry. I had to feel ugly. Then I got up and created change.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a licensed Aesthetician and Dark Spot Correction Specialist, and the founder of SkinKareBae (SKB), a results-driven luxury skincare brand focused on corrective care. SKB was created to deliver real solutions for hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, and sensitive skin. Results are non negotiable.
What makes the brand special is its intentional approach: ingredient-driven formulations, education, and treatments designed to create visible change. I’m currently focused on expanding SKB through new product launches and digital education, allowing the brand’s impact to extend far beyond the treatment room.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, education, and consistency. Resilience allowed me to push through setbacks and self-doubt; education gave me the knowledge to create real, effective solutions; and consistency turned that knowledge into visible results and a trusted brand. My advice to those early in their journey is to invest in learning, stay committed even when progress feels slow, and let discipline, not motivation do the heavy lifting. Growth comes from showing up repeatedly and refining along the way.
