We recently had the chance to connect with Livia Love and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Livia, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Who are you learning from right now?
I am constantly learning from everything and everyone I choose to surround myself with. The places I travel, the podcasts I listen to, the books I read, the YouTube videos I watch, the people I keep in touch with, and the places I choose to place myself in. What makes these choices an empowering space I can learn from is the powerful perspectives that I gain. Each perspective brings a newfound awareness to the surface that guides me towards elevated decision-making. A few names that stand out when I think of who I have been learning from right now are Robert Greene, Nero Knowledge, my professor Dr. Tomasulo, and the city of New York. I recently moved to New York as I am now a graduate student at Columbia University. I have never lived in such a busy city until now. I grew up in Los Angeles, which is a big city, but the energy in New York is different. After only living here a month so far, I have learned so much about myself and about the world around me.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello everyone! My name is Livia, and on social media I am known as @livialovestar. I am currently a graduate student at Columbia University, acquiring my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in spirituality. I know firsthand how life-changing a mindset shift can be. Through countless lessons and pivotal moments in my own journey, I discovered a system that has helped me nurture my strongest, clearest mindset yet. That shift introduced me to a renewed sense of purpose and led me to the heart-centered work I now do. My mission is to guide you back to the best authentic version of yourself, because deep down, you already hold the answers to what you truly desire and how to head that direction. As a Master’s student at Columbia University, I’m continuously exploring the powerful intersection of Psychology and Spirituality, discovering tools and insights that can elevate our overall wellness and progression.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bonds between people is something that we have all experienced. As we evolve with ourselves, we also evolve out of relationships that no longer align with who we are becoming. This does not always need to be seen as a negative; it just depends on the situation at hand.
What restores the bonds between people is the ability to come to someone and bare your soul with them. I feel that being honest and genuine in your apporach is the best way to connect with someone on a deeper level again.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain and using it as my power the moment I stepped into the YouTube and Content Creation Industry. I began to spend more time with myself and discover ways to utilize the challenges I have been through. I quickly discovered that the gift of creative communication was meant to be for me and I have not looked back since.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that my creativity and faith really matters to me. I am always instilling faith in those who I care about, as well as to my audience. I believe it is a medicine that we all need a daily dose of.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when writing, in deep conversation, or when taking in my present surroundings.
