Sade , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I develop my confidence and self esteem by positive affirmations, prayer, and trying new things that got me out my comfort zone. My advice to anyone who want to build their confidence is to block out negativity and doubt with positive thoughts and positive affirmations. I strongly believe growth and confidence comes from during what scares you. Be bold, Be free, Be you!
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a content creator, multimedia journalist and author who has published work in Sheen Magazine, renowned online platforms and international print publication. My journey began as an intern at a modest entertainment blog, where I gain writing experience. I went on and was blessed with many opportunities to showcase my creativity and multimedia journalism skills. I strive for my work to inspire and served as a testament to my commitment and belief in myself.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My journey has been a journey of self-love, growth, and strength. I had many times I had fear of failure and lack of interest . I narrowed down my interests and decided to dabbling in different areas of entertainment and fashion since this was my interests. My advice to anyone who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve, is to find out what interests them and go for it with their best foot forward and to always remember it’s okay to fail and to get back up and try it again If it makes them happy.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
My beloved mom was always supportive the most impactful thing she did for me is was simply being there for me when I needed it the most growing up. She always gave the best advice and told it like it was I will forever appreciate her honesty and encouragement .
