We recently had the chance to connect with Adam Jackson and have shared our conversation below.
Adam, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
I think the biggest misunderstanding about Day & Night Watch Co. is that people sometimes assume we are just another watch brand selling nice designs. In reality, everything we do is built with intention, meaning and storytelling. Every collection represents a piece of history, a legacy, a symbol of who you are becoming. My watches are designed for people who want more than a pretty accessory. They want something that reflects their journey, their grind, and their growth.
Another misconception is that we operate like a large corporation. Day & Night Watch Co. is personal to me. I design these watches myself. I handpick the colors, materials, movements, and details. I treat every customer like a relationship, not a transaction. People support this brand because they connect with the story behind it and with the energy that goes into every release.
Day & Night Watch Co. is not fast fashion. It is a purpose-driven brand built to last. When customers finally get their watch in hand, they realize it is not just about telling time. It is about reminding you to stay locked in, stay focused, and keep building your legacy day and night.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Adam Jackson, and I am the owner and designer of Day & Night Watch Co. I am a creator at heart, and I built this brand to represent discipline, growth, and the mindset of showing up for yourself every single day. I design every watch myself, and I pull inspiration from history, culture, and the journey of becoming the best version of yourself. Each collection has a more profound message behind it because I believe a watch should do more than tell time. It should remind you of who you are becoming.
What makes Day & Night Watch Co. special is the intention behind every detail. I am not a mass-produced brand. I am hands-on in everything from the colors and materials to the story behind each design. I want every customer to feel connected to their watch and to see it as a piece of their legacy.
Right now, I am working to expand the brand with new automatic designs, such as the Sango 878, which elevate our craftsmanship and performance. My goal is simple. To create a watch brand that inspires people to keep grinding, keep growing, and keep moving forward day and night.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world tried to tell me who I had to be, I was a kid with big ideas and an even bigger imagination. I was the one always dreaming, always building something in my mind, always seeing possibilities where other people only saw limits. I was curious, creative, and hungry to make something that felt like mine.
I was the kid who loved watches, loved design, and loved figuring out how things worked. I didn’t worry about titles, expectations, or the safe path. I just followed what felt natural to me. I cared about taking care of my family, staying true to my word, and finding a way to create something that could outlast me.
Life has a way of trying to box you in. It tries to tell you what lane you are supposed to stay in. But at my core, I am still that same kid who believes he can build something great with his own two hands. Day & Night Watch Co. exists because I refused to let the world rewrite the story I was born with. I chose to create my own lane, on my own terms, and turn those original dreams into reality.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that he is already enough. That he does not have to rush to prove anything to anybody. I would tell him to keep trusting that fire inside him because it is going to take him places he cannot even imagine yet.
I would tell him that every setback he faces will shape him into a stronger, more focused man. That the things he thinks are breaking him are actually building him. I would remind him to stay patient, stay solid, and stay true to who he is because everything he is praying for is already on the way.
Most of all, I would tell him that his dreams are real and his purpose is bigger than he thinks. Keep going. Keep creating. Keep believing. The future version of him is proud.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
A cultural value I protect at all costs is respect. Respect for yourself, your work, your family, and the people who believe in you. I grew up understanding that how you treat people says more about you than anything you could ever own or accomplish. Respect builds trust. It builds consistency. It builds real relationships.
In my life and in my brand, I make sure everything is rooted in respect. Respect for the craft, respect for the customer, and respect for the story behind every design. It keeps me accountable. It keeps me humble. It keeps me focused on doing things the right way, not the easy way.
When you move with respect, the world moves differently around you. That is the value I refuse to compromise.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Absolutely! I learned a long time ago that real growth comes from what you do when nobody is watching. Praise feels good, but it is not what drives me. What drives me is knowing I showed up, I put in the work, and I stayed true to my standards.
I believe your best effort is a reflection of your character, not your audience. If you only give your all when people are clapping, then you are performing, not building. I have built my life and my brand on doing the work quietly, consistently, and with intention. Whether it gets applause or not, the results will always speak later.
So yes, I can give everything my best with no praise at all, because my purpose is bigger than approval. My best is for me, my family, and the legacy I am building day and night.
