Amber Claire of Los Angeles on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Amber Claire. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Amber, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
I think all of the above play crucial parts in human characteristics. One is just as important as the other.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Amber, I was born in Melbourne Australia, and I have been residing in LA for the past 20+ years. I have been singing since I was 6 years old. My latest single “Suddenly Last Summer” will be released on Friday and was produced by the amazing Jake Carmona, who also played all the instruments on the track as well as doing some of the background vocals. The original version of this song was recorded by new wave band The Motels back in 1983.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
Probably when I would perform as a little girl in different talent shows in Australia, which built up my confidence and it also didn’t hurt that I won some of the contests 😆

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
How to be strong and to keep pushing forward no matter what happens. Also not to take notice of those who like to bully others online.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
How I treat people and how I strive to always inspire others to never give up,

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I loved animals and my family and friends.
