Angela, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
As of now, I’m being called upon for leadership and before I was afraid of failure and having the weight of the world on my shoulders.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Angela Harland and I am the CEO of In and Out Blowouts. I’m a 33 year old, single mom of 3 beautiful children who I strive to provide for daily. I would like to refer to myself as a Beautifier, who loves to bring out the true confidence in everyone I serve!! What makes my business so unique is the fact that I can style any and every texture of hair to the best of my abilities. Also providing a listening ear to a trusted professional who will make you feel your best self the moment you walk out the door!!

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bonds between people is miscommunication and what restores them is social development and the ability to speak someone’s language to create relation amongst people!

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be, never allow anyone to discourage you from being who you want to be. Be your true authentic self!!!

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say love really matters to me, because with love all things are possible!!

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yes I could give everything my best, even if no one one ever praised me for it because my true self will always prevail!
