Angela, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Legacy, leadership, laughter, and love for my family.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am an Author, Positive Impact Speaker, and Creative Content Consultant. My published books include the inquiring minds autobiography, “The Story and Life of an Ex-NFL Wife.” In all of my written work, I share non-fictional impactful truths, captivating audiences around the globe. As a bestselling author, I am the student, the teacher, the learner, and the leader. I understand that if seats at certain tables are not made available to me, it will not stop the mission. It will only energize me to build my own table. I will continue to uphold my mission “to speak and write to positively impact, and not to impress.” I help authors write and publish bestsellers. I draft speeches for politicians and people in positions of power across the world. I humbly grace stages and diverse platforms sharing powerful transparent truths to illuminate, motivate, and liberate audiences.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I was conditioned to be seen and not heard as a child. Now I am seen and heard.

Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
My grandson Dion always makes me feel heard. We have the best conversations and discussions about life, memories, moments and truth.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely! What you see and hear is from a place of authenticity, genuineness, and knowing who I am. It’s being FREE!

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
When I realized the power of words, I began watching how I spoke to myself and others. It led me to a place of speaking and writing positively to uplift others. They say, time is the one thing you can’t get back in life. If you think about it, you can’t get words back either. That’s why I try to be mindful when replying, reacting, and reciprocating. I aspire to leave a legacy of being a connector, not a competitor. My words can build, bond, and bridge. That’s the goal.
