We recently had the chance to connect with Bae Lee and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Bae, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I decided to rebrand myself and business. At times I can feel uninspired, dull, and bored. So, I came up with a new name and branding strategy. Bae.Faced is now Two.FacedxBae. To show case diverse looks. Bring in duality. Two looks for one face.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi Baes!
I,m Bae and I,m also the owner of what used to be Bae.Faced turned into Two.FacedxBae. My expertise is in luxury beauty services. Lashes, permanent make-up, and body contouring. Giving an additional boost of confidence brings me an inner happiness that’s hard to explain. Currently I’m working on new lash looks and marketing strategies.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
Being timid!
I over think a lot of my decisions. Because I overthink, sometimes I second guess myself and my decisions. I can trick myself out of a wise move. I can be my biggest critic.I’m learning to trust myself more. I’m learning to rely on my own critical thinking and trust my inner voice. Running a creative business that has the purpose of giving certainty and confidence, I have to be the same way. This market is saturated therefore I have to be confident all the time.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
You’re doing great, Bae!
Chin up and chest out. No matter the season somehow you seem to find a way to make it happen for yourself. People will talk- Give them something to talk about. Main character energy is what you’re known for. Remain God fearing, continue to pray, continue to praise on the sunny days and through out the storm. As long as you look deep into the storm’s eye? You will win. Don’t flinch. You’re good at listening first, thinking second, and executing last. I love you girl. I’m so proud of the woman you becoming. Even on the days that you don’t feel your best. Everything will forever start and end with you. Remain resilient. Remain patient. Know yourself. You still have a lifetime to go.
