An Inspired Chat with Becca Wingard

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Becca Wingard. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Becca, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I think a lot of people struggle with feeling unworthy. Unworthy of receiving signs from their dearly departed loved ones, unworthiness when it comes to owning their intuition and even beyond that. I feel that most people are afraid to admit it, because admitting it makes it real. Not many people even feel they have the strength to admit it – nonetheless, work through it. I’m here to let everyone know, you are so worthy. That fear will wash away once you face it.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Becca, and I’m a Psychic Medium. I provide mediumship sessions that create meaningful connections with Spirit, offering clarity and peace. I’ve been a Psychic Medium for as long as I can remember. I’ll never forget the first Spirit I connected with. I was between the ages of 3 and 5. That’s when I met Amara. She was a Native American girl who would tell me all about her life. I could see her as clearly as I see the living. Once she became more comfortable with me, I was able to see her entire family. Her parents, her brother and even their home. My gift comes from generations of highly intuitive women! I love what I do. I’m able to show others that there is life after death. Just because you can’t see them, doesn’t mean they aren’t there.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Interestingly enough, my Great Uncle John. He was my favorite Uncle. He always told me how special I was. No one else would talk with him at family gatherings. No one else would sit with him either, just me. He would make sure I knew I was loved and felt important. He always told me to stay true to myself and never lose hope. When I turned 12, he disappeared. I thought he moved away or even passed away. Life went on and I have always tried to stay true to myself. Funny.. I’m 34 as I’m writing this and I just finished looking through my family heritage. I found my Great Uncle John’s obituary and something fascinating revealed itself. He died in 1982. I was born in 1990 and saw him clearly until 2003. I had no idea my favorite uncle wasn’t living. That goes to show you, Spirit is always there. They are supportive, kind and want to see you thriving. I’m so grateful for him and how he reminded me to truly stay authentically me. No matter what.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
When others call you different, that’s okay. You are different. Being different and standing out is what makes you extra magical. You are even more special than you think you are. Keep smiling, keep laughing and remember that you can do anything!

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Betty White! She seemed to be so caring, so compassionate and also.. really goofy. She never had any problem being herself all of the time. Also, RuPaul Charles. RuPaul is one of those amazing humans who wants the best for everyone. Always inspiring younger generations to listen to their strength and push through. Both of these people have such beautiful character.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
Definitely what I was born to do. Mediumship is so easy for me, because I’ve been doing it since I was a little girl. All I have to do is listen. I get full body goosebumps from the work that I do. I wouldn’t even call it work or a job. It’s just a part of me. My career but also, my gift.
