An Inspired Chat with Blanca Gruber

Blanca, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My first go minutes of my day is practicing yoga for one hour and a half. I practice daily and this is how I start my day!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am an independent filmmaker. I am working on preparing my self to create animation films.. Creativity is my element. And art is my Universe. I practice art in all of its expressions. Always I have something to do in order to advance any art project. My last film a project I created inviting Venezuelan actors, producer, director from diferentes parts of the world to participated on the production of the project Bloody Rose Trilogy. Our first film of the trilogy Bloody Rose Trilogy Eye for Eye was nominate as best experimental. At the moment I am in working progress of the rest of the trilogy of Bloody Rose Trilogy Monster Curse and Bloody Rose Trilogy The Origin. I am editing the films.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
My parents where politically persecuted, specially my dad was wanted dead of live. So that experience make me see life differently. I always say I born in a conspiracy, I grew up in a conspiracy and I live in a conspiracy. So I will say every time I do an art project is a secretive like a conspiracy. I guess I have the training about secretive and conspiracies. In the time when I was a kid I had to lived with my grandmother she was the one that notice my habilitéis as an artist and introduce me to in the world of arts.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Always stand! Never give up! I am unstoppable no matter want how painful could be.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I never stop once I start. No matter the rejections or the criticism. I drive my self onto the collective consciousness getting all the answer for my accomplishments and just move on onto the logistic to get the job done.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If immortality were real, what would you build?
A better world! Where art, creativity, diversity and equality will be the column of society.
