We’re looking forward to introducing you to Clare Gray. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Clare, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I’m being called to trust the unseen — to follow spiritual guidance that arrives through messages, signs, and synchronicities that I once might have dismissed or been too afraid to acknowledge publicly. For years, I sensed there was a deeper purpose calling to me, but fear kept me from fully listening: fear of judgment, fear of not being good enough – or “Who am I to do this,” not forgetting, fear of what it might cost me to step onto a path I couldn’t fully see or control.
Now, I’m creating an oracle card deck born from these experiences — a way to share the wisdom that’s been revealed to me and to help others recognize the guidance available in their own lives. What I’ve learned is that following your life’s purpose often means surrendering to a mystery, trusting that the path will unfold as you walk it. It’s terrifying and exhilarating in equal measure.
I’ve learned that being called to something means being asked to grow beyond who you currently are. And that always requires moving through fear, not around it. I’m learning to say yes before I feel ready — because the readiness comes in the doing, in the trusting, in the opening myself to wherever this path leads.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My healing journey began 40 years ago when I discovered Applied Kinesiology and realized something profound: by tapping into the subconscious mind through muscle testing, we could access the information needed for true healing. That revelation set me on a path that has led me to become a Body Code and Belief Code practitioner, as well as a Preferred PSYCH-K facilitator.
In my practice, I use muscle testing to uncover messages about the situations we face in everyday life and the health issues we experience. I work from a core belief that life happens for you, not to you — meaning every challenge, every issue carries within it a gift waiting to be discovered. My role is to help people find those gifts, those messages that illuminate their path forward.
I’m also the host of the podcast “You’ve Got Messages,” where I teach people how to master self muscle testing so they can access their own guidance. I’m passionate about empowering others to find their own answers rather than always seeking them outside themselves.
Oracle card decks hold a special place in my work — they’ve become one of the primary sources through which messages reveal themselves, both in my practice and in my personal life. Which is why creating my own deck feels like such a natural evolution of this journey.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful is actually quite otherworldly. As a child of five or six, I had vivid memories — not fantasies, but memories — of being able to fly. Not like an airplane, but from an interplanetary perspective. I could travel between planets, and these visions were so real to me that I never questioned them. They simply were.
Alongside this, I carried an unshakeable belief that I should be able to heal people through energy alone. Not that I wanted to or hoped to — but that this was something innate, something I was meant to do.
Looking back now, I see how much of the ill health I experienced as a child was actually preparation for the work I do today. Those struggles weren’t happening to me — they were happening for me, teaching me from the inside out what it means to need healing, to search for answers, to trust in something beyond what we can see or prove. Every symptom, every challenge was building the foundation of empathy and understanding I would need to guide others through their own healing journeys.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering teaches us what success never could — but only once we stop being its victim and start looking for its gift.
From age seven to sixty-four, I was allergic to all animals. That’s fifty-seven years of staying away from creatures I passionately loved. Fifty-seven years of turning down invitations from friends because they had a dog or cat. Fifty-seven years of struggling to breathe if I accidentally found myself in a home where an animal lived.
But it was that very passion for animals that kept me searching for an answer, refusing to accept that this was just “how things were.” I felt like a victim to this condition — until a profound moment during my PSYCH-K training changed everything.
I had a full-on mystical experience where I suddenly realized: if it weren’t for all the health issues I’d battled, I wouldn’t be there, in that exact moment, learning how changing your beliefs can change your life. It hit me like a baseball bat to the head — I was actually grateful for being allergic to animals. Grateful for every asthma attack, every limitation, because they had all conspired to put me on the path I was meant to follow.
Right there, I created a new belief rooted in that gratitude. Later that same day, I had the opportunity to spend time with two beautiful horses. No symptoms. No fear. Just peace.
Success might have taught me I was capable. But suffering taught me I was able to change my life — that the universe was guiding me all along, even through what felt like punishment.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
The people who know me best would say that integrity matters most to me — not as a lofty ideal, but as a lived practice.
When someone entrusts me to help them, that trust is sacred. There’s an unwritten code that drives everything I do: I put everything I have into the time we spend together. Not just my skills or knowledge, but my full presence, my complete attention, my genuine care for their healing and transformation.
I don’t believe in halfway. I don’t believe in going through the motions. If someone is brave enough to show up and do the vulnerable work of healing, then I owe them nothing less than showing up fully myself — every single time.
That’s not something I have to think about or remind myself to do. It’s simply who I am.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I am 100% doing what I was born to do.
To be honest, I’ve never been very good at doing what people tell me to do. I follow what calls to me, even when — especially when — it doesn’t make logical sense.
Right now, I’m on a journey of discovery that I know is part of my life’s work, but I have absolutely no idea where it will take me. I’m completely committed to staying on the path wherever it leads. Some people might shake their heads if they knew what I’m being called to do — traveling to distant shores, following breadcrumbs that the spirit world has left for me, pursuing things that can’t be explained in a business plan or justified with rational arguments.
But when the belief is strong, you don’t question. You just keep walking. You marvel at what shows up. You trust that you’re being led, even when you can’t see more than a few steps ahead. I have a sign in my office that reads: “Courage is taking those first steps to your dream, even if you cant see the path ahead.” I read that every day, and live my its message.
There’s a freedom in that surrender — in choosing to be born into your purpose over and over again, rather than living out someone else’s blueprint for your life.
