We recently had the chance to connect with Daniela Ghiglieri and have shared our conversation below.
Daniela, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I am most proud of building is the kind of leadership that is not always visible. It is the culture, the mentorship, and the unwavering support I give to the people around me. My success has come from leading with intention and showing up for my community in a way that feels real and inspiring. I believe leadership is about more than strategy or results. It is about creating an environment where people feel empowered, where they trust you because you see them and you care. Those authentic connections are what have allowed me to scale businesses, build strong teams, and create lasting impact. The results people see on the outside are only possible because of the foundation of trust and connection behind it all.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Daniela Ghiglieri, and I’m the founder of Emerald Consulting, where I step into businesses as a Fractional COO for aesthetics and wellness founders. With over 9 years in the industry, I’ve built and scaled multiple seven-figure med spas, trained teams nationwide, and partnered with some of the most respected brands in aesthetics and wellness.
What makes Emerald Consulting unique is that we don’t just give advice, we become part of your business. I act as your second-in-command, helping you streamline operations, train your team, align marketing and sales, and put the right systems in place so your business can grow sustainably.
My passion comes from experience: I’ve been the owner, the operator, and the leader in this space. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to juggle everything while still trying to scale. That’s why my mission is to give founders the clarity, confidence, and structure they need to step into their visionary role while knowing their business is supported behind the scenes.
Right now, I’m especially excited about expanding my Founder’s Circle, a mastermind-style program that helps aesthetics and wellness owners collaborate, problem-solve, and access COO-level guidance in a more accessible way. Alongside my long-term partnerships and intensives, it’s one of the most rewarding things I’ve built because it proves that when founders have the right strategy, support, and accountability, real transformation happens.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that really shaped how I see the world wasn’t just an event, but the leaders I chose to follow early on. I was fortunate to have mentors who took me under their wing, people who inspired me, believed in me, and made me feel like I could conquer anything. They gave me confidence at times when I didn’t always have it myself, and that belief became fuel for everything I’ve achieved since.
That experience planted a seed in me: I wanted to give others the same feeling they gave me. Today, when I step into a business as a leader, mentor, or coach, my goal is not just to build systems or drive profits, but to empower people to help them feel confident, capable, and unstoppable, the way those early influences made me feel.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear that held me back the most was the fear of not being enough. For a long time, even when I was achieving amazing results, I questioned whether I was qualified to step into bigger roles or deserved the opportunities in front of me. That fear made me overwork, overthink, and sometimes play small when I was capable of so much more.
What changed everything for me was realizing that confidence isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about showing up, being willing to learn, and leading with intention. Once I shifted out of fear and into trust, trust in myself, trust in my vision, and trust in the people around me that’s when everything opened up.
Now, I use that experience to remind my clients that they are more capable than they realize. Often the biggest thing holding us back isn’t lack of skill, it’s lack of belief and when we tackle that, everything else falls into place.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
One of the biggest lies in the aesthetics and wellness industry is the idea that growth will just “happen” if you have the right treatments, devices, or products. The truth is, amazing services alone don’t build sustainable businesses. Without systems, leadership, and a clear strategy, even the most talented providers struggle to scale.
Another lie is that hustling harder equals success. I see so many owners burning themselves out because they believe if they just work more hours, everything will fall into place. In reality, true growth comes from structure, delegation, and empowering your team, not doing it all yourself.
And finally, the industry often convinces itself that “sales” is a dirty word. But sales done right isn’t pushy, it’s about education, trust, and creating a better client experience. When owners embrace that shift, they not only grow their revenue, but also create stronger, longer-lasting relationships with their clients.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I want to be remembered as the woman who cared enough to change lives. Someone who refused to play small, who poured everything into helping others rise, and who left behind a ripple effect of confidence and success.
My legacy isn’t just my own story, it’s the stories of the people I’ve guided, the leaders I’ve built, and the businesses I’ve helped transform. I want the world to say: “She didn’t just build companies. She built people. She believed in others so fiercely that they started believing in themselves.”
Because at the end of the day, my legacy is this: helping others create theirs.
