We recently had the chance to connect with Forbs West and have shared our conversation below.

Forbs, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
I would say energy. Personality is king in life. Having a good personality goes in tandem with integrity. Intelligence is the icing on the cake.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
FORBZ Management Inc., is a boutique artist development firm that provides consulting services to clients. Forbs currently has a roster of 3 clients spanning from LA to NYC.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my parents. They convinced me to do college radio meanwhile everyone on my crazy party dorm floor rushed for fraternities. WTUL was my fraternity and if it weren’t experiencing this opportunity I wouldn’t be working in the music industry.
Also, a big shoutout to Jank Setup for being my first ever management client.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
To never give up and have strong poise, determination, grit, and persistence.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I would say that they are driven in their unparalleled ways. They are motivated about a cause, passion, hobby etc. Being driven about an interest is key.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If immortality were real, what would you build?
I would build a music industry travel agency for artists where they had the chance to succeed and have stable careers out of their artists projects. They could input their destinations in an app and all paid for expenses would be included for a few night stay to perform shows.
