Hailey, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I feel called to go to college for photography, something I never thought I’d have the courage to do. In the past, school was always hard for me, and the idea of stepping back into that space felt completely out of my comfort zone. But photography is where I feel the most alive – it’s the one thing that makes me forget the fear. With the encouragement of my family, who’ve supported me every step of the way, I finally feel ready to take this leap and see where it leads.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Hailey Roe! I’m a photographer and content creator, and right now my main focus is on my photography. I’ve always been inspired by nature, so a lot of my work is landscapes, sunsets, and the night sky. I like to keep my photos as natural as possible so they feel real and true to the moment.

Lately, I’ve been working on growing my portfolio and sharing more of my work online, while also exploring new places that inspire me. For me, photography isn’t just about taking pictures – it’s about capturing little moments that make you stop and feel something. I like to think of it as “capturing stories, one beautiful moment at a time.”

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that really shaped how I see the world was the first time I stood under the Milky Way with my camera. Looking up at the stars made me realize how small we are but also how connected everything feels. It made me want to slow down, be present, and notice the beauty that’s always around us. That moment also gave me the push to step out of my comfort zone and really commit to photography, because it’s not just about pictures – it’s about capturing that feeling of wonder.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, I’ve almost given up on photography, content creation, and even other things many times. What truly keeps me going is my faith in God and the support of my family – they’ve been there for me every step of the way. I try to stay positive and remind myself that I can do anything I put my mind to. My passion for traveling and photography, along with my dreams for the future, keep pushing me forward. No matter how hard it gets, I always find a reason to keep going and never give up.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
I believe that every moment has meaning, even the ones we don’t always notice. Photography has taught me that – when you capture a single second in time, you realize how much beauty is hidden in the ordinary. I can’t prove it, but I truly believe those little moments are what shape us, and that’s why I feel called to capture them.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I lived doing what I loved and that I never gave up on my dreams. I want to be remembered as someone who saw the beauty in the world and shared it through my photography. More than anything, I hope people feel inspired to chase what they love and to never be afraid to go after it.
